Alcohol and my health

A story you shouldn't scroll pass.

Excessive alcohol consumption poses significant threats to both physical and mental health, as well as overall life expectancy. What you need to know concerning alcoholic consumption

1. Physical Health Risks: Chronic alcohol consumption can lead to various diseases, including liver cirrhosis, pancreatitis, cardiovascular diseases, and certain types of cancer (e.g., breast, liver, and esophagus). It compromises the immune system, making individuals more susceptible to infections.

2. Mental Health Impact: Alcohol abuse is closely linked to mental health disorders, including depression and anxiety. It can exacerbate existing conditions and lead to increased risk of su***de and self-harm.

3. Addiction and Dependency: Prolonged excessive consumption can result in alcohol use disorder (AUD), characterized by physical dependence and compulsive drinking behavior, which can impair daily functioning and relationships.

4. Accidents and Injuries: Alcohol impairs judgment and coordination, significantly increasing the risk of accidents, such as falls, vehicle crashes, and other injuries. It is also a contributing factor in violent behavior and criminal activity.

5. Social and Economic Consequences: Excessive drinking can lead to strained relationships, job loss, financial issues, and increased healthcare costs, affecting both personal and societal well-being.

6. Impact on Life Expectancy: The cumulative effects of alcohol-related health issues can lead to a shorter lifespan and a decrease in quality of life.

while moderate alcohol consumption may be acceptable for some individuals, excessive intake poses serious risks that can jeopardize health and longevity.

You gulp antibiotics any time you have difficulty in swallowing and because of the unbearable pain, you opted for surgery.

I am talking about tonsillitis. See, the primary cause of tonsillitis is not bacteria.

It is a virus. Epstein Barr Virus is the culprit responsible which means you are just wasting your money and time on antibiotics.

The tonsillitis you are experiencing failed to resolve because you are addicted to a bad diet.

Your choice of food brings infection to the oral cavity which is the mouth.

You eat or give your children sugar, yoghurt, sodas, msg, and candies and you think it's all about enjoyment.

No, it's not, infection also sets in.

So, before you take your innocent child (ren) to tonsillectomy, ask yourself if you have been doing well as a mother or individual.

Just know that removing the tonsils is like cutting off your toes because of a fungal infection.

It's all nonsense.

Don't fall for the deceptive marketing by hospitals.

And don't be gullible.

The solution is in your diet.

All you need to do is to eliminate bad diets like sugar, sodas, juices, yoghurt, and processed meats like sausages & pizza, no eating foods from the fridge, avoid fluoridated toothpaste, and no snacking.

Use warm saline gargles ( salt and warm water ) regularly.

Be friends with zinc, vit D3 (sun), essential fats, and garlic.

🔥🔥Does calcium supplement have any negative effect on the health of the consumers. If yes, what are the effects?

Calcium supplements are dietary supplements that contain calcium, often in the form of calcium carbonate, calcium citrate, or calcium phosphate. They are commonly used to support bone health and prevent or treat conditions such as osteoporosis, osteopenia, and hypocalcemia (low calcium levels).

While calcium supplements can be beneficial, depending solely on them without consuming foods rich in calcium can be detrimental to your bones in several ways:

1. Imbalanced nutrient intake: Relying solely on supplements can lead to an imbalanced intake of essential nutrients, including vitamin D, magnesium, and potassium, which are crucial for bone health.

2. Inadequate absorption: Calcium supplements may not be absorbed as effectively as calcium from food sources, which can lead to reduced efficacy.

3. Increased risk of kidney stones: Excessive calcium intake from supplements can increase the risk of developing kidney stones.

4. Interference with medication: Calcium supplements can interact with certain medications, such as antibiotics and blood thinners, reducing their effectiveness.

5. Lack of regulatory oversight: The quality and safety of calcium supplements can vary widely, as they are not regulated as strictly as pharmaceuticals.

6. Neglect of overall diet: Relying solely on supplements may lead to neglect of a balanced diet, which is essential for overall health and bone health, this is what most people who use calcium supplement do, they believe since they are using calcium supplement, there is no to consume (eat) foods rich in calcium any more

It is essential to maintain a balanced diet that includes foods rich in calcium, such as:

- Dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurt)
- Leafy greens (kale, broccoli, spinach)
- Fortified plant-based milk
- Tofu and other soy products
- Nuts and seeds (almonds, sesame seeds, chia seeds)
