WHEN THE SAVIOUR WEPT (John 11:33-40)
DOES JESUS CARES? (GHS 196)π·πΈπΉ
Oh yes, he cares I know, he care!
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long night dreary,
I know my saviour cares.
π»π·πΉπΊπ€
Does Jesus care when my heart is pained,π
Too deeply for mirth or song,π
As the burden press and the care distress,π
And the way grow weary and long.π
π€πΊπ·πΊ
Does Jesus care when my way is darkπ,
With a nameless I dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into a deep night shades,ππ
Does he care enough to be near?
πΊπ€πΉπ·π·
Does Jesus care when I've tried and failedπβ
To resist some temptations strong;
When from my deep grief there's no relief,
Tho' my tears flow all the night long.ππ
π·πΉπ€πΊπ»
Does Jesus care when I've said goodbye,π
To the dearest on earth to me,ππ
And my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks,ππ
Is it aught to him? Does he see?.
π»πΊπ€πΉπ·π·
Oh yes, he cares I know, he care!
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long night dreary,
I know my saviour cares.π

*"Jesus wept" (JOHN 11:35).*
Jesus wept to share with sorrow with Lazarus' relations and friends who appeared in inconsolable. His compassion puts His love into action as He raised Lazarus back to life.
Today, Jesus still shows deep concern for believers. He is not aloof, withdrawn or unconcerned with the way we feel and things we go through. He is touched with the feelings of our infirmities. He knows the pains we bear. He does not leave us to face our dark and dreary moments alone because He cares. This being the case, believers are not to go through life sorrowing as destitute and hopeless people.
Wipe your tears away, JESUS CARES.
let not your heart be trouble, JESUS CARES.
Bring all your burden to Jesus, he'll give you rest because HE CARES.
COME TO JESUS, LOOK AND LIVE.
