Our Story

The school was established in 1965 as a Grade 1 Midwifery Training school. From the start, the Midwifery school was an outstanding success in training and result gaining 100% passes in the final council examination. By 1992, an approval by the Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria was given to the school to begin training of General Nurses.

The school is being run by the hospital; St. Gerard’s Catholic Hospital, Kaduna under the administration of Rev. Sr. Beatrice Danladi.

Mr Laden M. Pate (pictured above) is the current principal of the school; a position he has held since November, 2007.
