My sister was pregnant for two years….or at least that is what the neighbors concluded.
My sister’s tummy just kept getting bigger and bigger.
People mocked her, some even accused her of sleeping around.
And after 9 months when she didn’t deliver, people went ahead to blame it on witchcraft (Aljannu).
What people didn’t know was that my sister was battling an ovarian cyst, a growth that made her stomach bigger.
While this is a work of fiction, it is not very different from a lot of people’s realities.
Abdominal swelling in a woman DOES NOT ALWAYS MEAN PREGNANCY.
So, how can we tell the difference you say?
