EPISODE 10

After all that happened

The voice suddenly stopped. Permanently this time

At first, it terrified him.
The absence felt louder than anything.
Like losing something he didn’t even realize he depended on.

But slowly…
He started noticing things again. Things like body language, tone, and energy.
Thoss quiet signals he used to ignore.

But this time
he didn’t push them away.
He listened.

Days later, he found himself standing at the same road where everything began.
The noise of the city surrounded him.
He stepped forward
Then paused.
Not because of a voice. But because of a feeling.

He stopped.
A bus sped past….closely to him

Kelechi smiled faintly.
He needed no voice this time

That was when the realization hit him…
The voice didn’t disappear.
It was never separate.
It only existed because he refused to listen to himself.

Now that he finally did…
it had nothing left to say.
Kelechi took a deep breath and crossed the road.
For the first time in a long time—
he wasn’t surviving.
He was present.

EPISODE 9

Kelechi sat alone for hours, letting everything settle.
Then he spoke.
“You’re not saving me… are you?”
The answer came calmly.
“I’m trying to bring you back.”

Back to what?

That's when he realized..
The voice wasn’t seeing the future.
It was recognizing patterns.

Connecting everything Kelechi had trained himself to ignore.
That is his awareness, intuition and his internal compass.
Everything he had suppressed
found a way to survive.

Kelechi exhaled slowly, tears falling without resistance.

He had abandoned himself.
Ignored himself.
Silenced himself.
And now…
this was the consequence.

The voice was never the problem.
It was the solution.

Just one that arrived in a way he couldn’t ignore.

Now he's left with one question… can he live without the voice?

EPISODE 8

Kelechi didn’t want to accept it.

Because accepting it meant one thing
He had been the problem all along.

So he resisted.

The next warning came yet again
“Don’t go out tonight.”

He laughed bitterly.
“No. I’m done listening.”

This time, he needed to prove something.
That he still had control.

So he went out.

The night started normal.
Background music, people's laughter.
For a moment, he almost felt free
Then things shifted.
A disagreement nearby.
Voices rising.
Tension building.
He felt it instantly.
That same quiet signal in his chest.
The same one he used to ignore.
The same one he was ignoring now.

All of a sudden, chaos erupted

Kelechi didn’t even see it coming.
A blow hit him hard.

As he fell, the noise around him blurred into something distant.

“This is what happens when you ignore me.”
The voice said.

It wasn’t angry.
It was… disappointed.

And worse—
It sounded like him.

Kelechi lay there, breathing heavily, vision fading in and out.
And for the first time
he didn’t feel like he was fighting something external.
He felt like he was fighting himself.

If ignoring the voice hurts him… what happens if he finally accepts it?

EPISODE 7

Memories don’t just disappear.
They hide.

Kelechi began remembering things he had deliberately pushed away.

The night he ignored a bad feeling and got robbed.

The relationship that drained him, but he stayed because leaving felt harder.

The job that slowly crushed him, but he convinced himself to endure
Every single time…
there had been a signal, a discomfort.
Something inside him whispering“This isn’t right.”
And every single time…
he shut it out

He trained himself to ignore his own awareness.
To distrust his own instincts.
To override his own truth.

Until that part of him evolved into something impossible to ignore.

Kelechi sat on the floor, back against the wall, breathing slowly.

Because he realized…
He didn’t lose it.
He buried it.

And now
it had clawed its way back to the surface.

It came back as something that refused to be ignored again.
And that realization terrified him more than anything else.

Now the question is…

If his intuition had to become this loud to be heard… what damage had his silence already caused?

EPISODE 6

Kelechi needed answers.

An idea came to him - to document everything.
And so he did. Every warning. Every outcome. He wrote down

At first, it looked random.
But soon, patterns began to form.

The voice didn’t just predict danger.

It predicted more about him…His choices, his reactions and his mistakes.

It knew when he would trust the wrong person, when he would ignore red flags and when he would walk straight into regret.

Like it had studied him for years.

Or possibly lived through every version of him already.

That night, Kelechi stood in front of his mirror.
The room was quiet.

He stared at his reflection for a long time.
Then finally
“Are you me?”

The answer came instantly.
“I’ve always been.”
His chest tightened.

“That’s not possible.”
“You just stopped listening.”
Kelechi’s breath ceased.

Images flashed in his mind.
Moments where he felt something was wrong—but ignored it.
Times he knew better—but chose differently.

“You’re lying,” he said weakly.
But his voice obviously lacked conviction.
Because deep down…
something was starting to make sense.

If the voice was him…
Then why did it feel like a stranger?

And more importantly—
What part of him had he been ignoring for so long that it had to become something else just to be heard?

THE WARNING(Episode 5)
At first, it felt like a gift.
A strange one…but a gift nonetheless.

Kelechi stopped questioning the voice.

He now listens.
And it worked. Every single time.
“Don’t eat that.” — he avoided food poisoning.
“Take another route.” — he missed a robbery by minutes.
“Don’t answer that call.” — it turned out to be a scam targeting him.

Each warning added onto the next, building in him a dangerous form of confidence.
Not in himself…tho…in the voice.

He stopped making decisions unless the voice confirmed them.

Stopped trusting his instincts unless they were in accordance to the voice

His friends and family started noticing
“You’re always distant,” his sister complained. “It’s like you’re not here.”
But Kelechi didn’t know how to explain it.
How do you tell people that something inside you is keeping you alive?

He didn't answer her.

One night, sitting alone in his apartment, the quiet felt heavier than usual.

And then the voice came again
“You’re a danger to yourself ”
Kelechi froze.
“What does that mean?”
No response.

He stood up slowly, pacing the room.

“How can I be the danger when you’re the one saving me?”
But he only got silence.
The kind that presses against your thoughts.

This time…instead of protecting him as usual…
It accused him.
And that was far more terrifying.
Because if the danger wasn’t outside…
Then it was inside.

What if the biggest threat to his life… has always been himself?

The Warning(Episode 4)

Even though the voice kept him safe from danger, and exposed his friend

He couldn't help, but wonder…

Is this how his life would be from now?

He was having mixed feelings about the entire issue.

The next warning didn’t come gently.
It came like an urgency.

“Don’t let your mother travel tomorrow.”
Kelechi sat upright instantly.

His heart began to race.
This wasn’t about him anymore.

He grabbed his phone and called her.
She picked up on the third ring, her voice warm, familiar.
“My son.”
“Mama, please… don’t travel tomorrow.”

A soft laugh came from the other end. “What kind of sudden fear is this?”

“I’m serious. Just postpone it.”
“Everything is already arranged,” she replied calmly. “I’ll be fine.”

“No, listen to me. Please.”

He tried everything.
Logic. Emotion. Even fear.
Nothing worked.

Because from her perspective…
there was nothing to fear.

The next day, Kelechi couldn’t sit still.
Every minute felt longer than it should be

Then the call came.
An accident happened!

A highway collision involving multiple vehicles.
His chest tightened, it felt like something inside him had snapped.

At the hospital, the air smelled like medicine
Machines beeped softly.

And there she was.
Alive. But fragile.
Her eyes opened slowly when she saw him.

“How?…” she whispered weakly.
Kelechi swallowed hard.

He couldn't respond.

That night, sitting alone outside the hospital, he spoke into the silence.
“What’s the point of warning me… if I can’t change it?”

The voice responded calmly.
“Because you can’t control everything.”

Kelechi clenched his jaw.
“Then why tell me?”
It paused…

“So you learn what matters.
”
He froze.
Learn what? Loss? Pain? Helplessness?

He couldn't help but wonder…

If the voice isn’t trying to control the future… what exactly is it preparing him for?
