WHAT IS BORIC ACID?
Boric acid is a suppository drug that is used to treat va**nal infections. Boric acid helps restore the natural pH balance in the va**na, which can help alleviate symptoms and prevent the overgrowth of bacteria and fungi in the va**na
Boric acid suppositories contains anti-fungal properties that kills fungi cells when they come in contact.
Boric acid is a gelatin capsule and each capsules contains 600mg which is meant to be inserted into the v-area only( Not oral).
WHAT IS BORIC ACID USED FOR?
Boric acid is used to:
- Treat dryness
- Stop smelling discharge
- Stop painful s*x
- Treat candidiasis
- Treat burning, itching and discomfort of the va**na.
- Treat bacterial vaginosis And yeast infections. And many more
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ONE USES IT IN LARGE QUANTITY (OVERDOSE)
When ingested in large amounts.
It can cause diarrhea and vomiting and abdominal pains
WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED DOSE OF BORIC ACID?
One capsule can be inserted into the va**na at bedtime every day for a week to treat va**nal infection. In severe cases, it should be used at bedtime every day for two - three weeks of treatment
NOTE: Avoid s*xual in*******se while you have placed a capsule inside the va**na. Do not use it if you are pregnant, or if you have broken skin that can come into contact with it. Do not swallow the pills, it can cause life-threatening adverse effects.
