We had the honor of hosting the Gates Foundation team during their field visit to our state-of-the-art pharmagrade warehouse as part of stakeholder engagements on the Family Planning Supply Chain Redesign. Present at the meeting were the Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Health, CAP4SD, SPHCB, Kaizen Institute and other key partners. Together, we discussed sustainable strategies to strengthen last-mile delivery and improve access to family planning commodities across Kaduna State. Collaboration like this is vital for building a resilient and responsive health supply chain.

We are excited to share the incredible achievements of the State Health Supplies Management Agency (KADHSMA) at the 2024 Annual Supply Chain Summit, organized by the Africa Resource Center for Excellence in Supply Chain Management (ARC-ESM).

KADHSMA secured 10 prestigious awards, including the highly coveted International Award of Excellence in Supply Chain presented by the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA). This international recognition highlights KADHSMA’s global standing as a leader in supply chain innovation and excellence.

🌟 **Event Highlight: Dissemination of Kaduna State Healthcare Waste Management Policy** 🌟

We are pleased to share that the Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Health Supplies Management Agency (KADHSMA) Pharm Aisha Tukur Isyaku was in attendance at the recently held dissemination meeting for the Kaduna State Healthcare Waste Management Policy. The event took place on Saturday, 27th July 2024, at the Conference Hall of Hotel Seventeen, Kaduna.
The Kaduna State Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Lafiya Health Programme, has developed this policy to promote public health, protect the health environment, improve health outcomes, and enhance the socio-economy of healthcare waste management in the state.
As an agency responsible for the procurement, storage, and distribution of health commodities, KADHSMA plays a crucial role in ensuring that healthcare waste is managed effectively. Our participation underscores our commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of our communities by adhering to best practices in healthcare waste management.

Kaduna State Health Supplies Management Agency (KADHSMA) successfully concluded four-days workshop to review the Agency’s Procurement Policy, Strategy and SOPs. The workshop held from July 1st to 4th, 2024, supported by Health Procurement Africa, CIPS UK Project, led by Mr. Chukwudi Uche, FCIPS

The workshop brought together stakeholders to review the procurement strategy, policy, and standard operating procedures. In attendance were the Executive Secretary Pharm. Aisha Tukur Isyaku, the Director-General of the Kaduna State Public Procurement Authority, the Director of Pharmaceutical Services SMOH, the LMCU Coordinator, and other Management Staff of the Agency. Their invaluable contributions, insights, and collaborative spirit have significantly strengthened our procurement framework.

Today, Monday 15th July 2024. the industrial training program for some IT students at the Kaduna State Health Supplies Management Agency came to a successful conclusion. During the farewell engagement, the Executive Secretary praised the students for their hard work and dedication throughout the training period. She encouraged them to share the knowledge and skills they have acquired with others and to continue their commitment to excellence in any future endeavors.
