To my beautiful ladies no matter how deeply connected you feel to a man, please don’t let him believe that your life depends on him.
In fact, I’m not just saying not to make him *feel* that way; I mean you truly shouldn’t rely on him as if he’s your only reason for being.
Let the connection be mutual, and allow the love to grow naturally, but don’t become so attached that you seem helpless or incomplete without him.
A man is more likely to take for granted a woman who gives him the impression that she can’t live without him. That’s why I always encourage you to have a rich, fulfilling life beyond the relationship. Pursue your passions, cultivate your interests, and nurture what brings you joy.
This will make you an asset to him, not a burden.
Men respect women who have vibrant lives of their own, even as they add to the beauty of the relationship. Don’t undervalue yourself to the point where he believes he’s the only thing keeping you afloat.
Remember, you are worth more when you are whole and independent.
