Resilience Amidst Inflation
The Challenge
Like many women entrepreneurs in our community, Amina faced a dual crisis in late 2025: the skyrocketing cost of raw materials for her business and the prohibitive cost of mobile data. Under our previous group-training model, Amina struggled to stay online for long video sessions, often exhausting her data bundle before the core lessons were finished. The "one-size-fits-all" schedule also clashed with her peak business hours, forcing her to choose between learning and earning.
The Intervention
In January 2026, Amina became one of the first five participants to transition to our Individualized Learning Track.
• Platform Choice: Amina opted for a low-data, text-and-voice-note-based curriculum delivered via WhatsApp, which consumed 60% less data than our previous platform.
• Flexible Pacing: Rather than a fixed three-hour block, she engaged with modules during her shop’s "quiet hours," allowing her to apply digital marketing tips in real-time.
The Result
By the end of her training in March, Amina hadn't just completed the program—she had flourished. By using the data-saving techniques and digital tools learned during her sessions, she successfully moved 30% of her sales to online orders, offsetting the foot traffic decline caused by local inflation.
"Before, I felt left behind because I couldn't afford the 'data' to be in the room. Now, the training comes to me in a way I can afford, and my business is finally breathing again." — Amina
