URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS (UTIs)
Urinary Tract Infection is an infection in any part of the urinary system.
The most common cause of a UTI in the urethra is a s*xually transmitted infections. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are two STIs that can cause a UTI. STIs are also the most common cause of UTIs in younger men. Prostate problems can also cause UTIs.
It's pretty easy to get a urinary tract infection. Bacteria that live in the va**na, ge***al, and a**l areas may enter the urethra, travel to the bladder, and cause an infection. This can happen during s*xual activity when bacteria from your partner's ge***als, a**s, fingers, or s*x toys gets pushed into your urethra.
When you have a UTI, the lining of the bladder and urethra become red and irritated just as your throat does when you have a cold. The irritation can cause pain in your lower abdomen pelvic area and even lower back, and will usually make you feel like urinating more often.
