Side by side.
In the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria, a young girl named Nneoma lived a life filled with love, laughter, and learning. She spent her days helping her mother sell goods at the bustling Sangotedo market, where the sounds of drums and the smells of jollof rice filled the air.
One day, while Nneoma was selling her wares, a wise old man approached her. He was Aristotle, who had traveled through time and space to share his wisdom with the young girl.
Nneoma was fascinated by Aristotle's stories of ancient Greece and the concept of "eudaimonia" – living a life of happiness and fulfillment. She realized that her own life in Sangotedo, surrounded by family and community, was a perfect example of eudaimonia.
As they sat under a shaded canopy, Aristotle drew a picture of a woman surrounded by lush greenery and smiling children. "This," he said, "is wholesome success." Nneoma's eyes lit up as she gazed at the picture.
Then, Nneoma drew a picture of herself in the market, surrounded by vibrant colors and the people she loved. "This," she said, "is my wholesome success." Aristotle smiled, nodding in agreement.
Together, they realized that wholesome success wasn't just one definition – it was a beautiful tapestry of different cultures, experiences, and perspectives. And in that moment, Nneoma knew that she had found her own path to happiness and fulfillment.
The two pictures hung side by side, a testament to the diversity and richness of human experience.
