. As adult I know most of us has experienced muscle tightness, because we don’t stretch as often as we should.
Now all babies actually have some muscle tightness when they are born, reasons being that they have been cramped up in the womb for several months, this problem easily revolves as they grow.
Making sure your baby spends time laying on their belly and not always in a car 🌊 seat or bouncy swing, will make sure they adequately stretch the hip flexors. Laying your baby on their back and carrying out the hip flexor stretch will help promote good abdominal strength and muscle tone, good body awareness and exploration.
In reality, tight muscles do happen but why allow your child to through that, tightness can lead to limitations in mobility, changes in posture(abnormal posture) and potential injury as child grows and learn new skills.
