“Before You Call Your Child Stubborn, Read This 👇”

Often what we call stubbornness is actually one of these:

A child who wants to express their own opinion 🗣️

A child testing boundaries to understand limits 🧩

A child struggling with big emotions they don’t yet know how to manage 😢

A child seeking independence (“I want to do it myself!”) ✋

A child needing connection before correction ❤️

Instead of tagging them stubborn, try seeing:

Determined ➡️ disobedient

Curious ➡️ difficult

Expressive ➡️ disrespectful

Learning boundaries ➡️ breaking rules

Strong-willed ➡️ “bad”

What’s one behavior you’ve labeled as “stubborn” before — and how would you reframe it now? Share in the comments 👇

Love this! 💙 It’s amazing how just a few minutes of play with dad can light up a child’s whole day.

Dads, what’s your favorite game to play with your little ones?

Mamas 💕 what if today you chose:
✨ Grace over guilt
✨ Progress over perfection
✨ Connection over control

You’re already doing so much — more than enough. ❤️
It’s okay to pause. To breathe. To reset. To just be. 🫂

So tell me in the comments — what’s one thing you’re letting go of today?

🚨 Too Much Tech, Too Soon? 🚨

Screens don’t just entertain toddlers.
They rewire their brains. 🧠

They keep kids quiet…
❌ but don’t teach them to calm themselves.
They light up little eyes 👀…
❌ but dim patience, focus, and emotional control.

Research shows: Early, heavy tech use in toddlers leads to:
⚠️ Shorter attention spans
⚠️ Poorer emotional regulation
⚠️ Weaker empathy and resilience

The toddler years are SACRED.
Brains build through touch, play, faces, voices — not flashing pixels.

Here’s the swap that saves childhood:
✅ Play DON'T Scroll
✅ Faces NOT Screens
✅ Presence NOT Pixels

Childhood doesn’t need more technology.
It needs you. 🤍

SHAME DOES NOT DRIVE PROGRESS, MAYBE TEMPORAL PROGRESS.

Whenever I see parents and teachers shaming children because they don’t meet up with their personal or learning expectations I feel pain.

Growing up, I couldn’t read. No fault of mine but I faced shame within the walls of the school and outside.

Often, there was this competition between me and those that could read. While it lasted, I never read until I stepped away from their personal and learning expectations of me - I left the school.

Interestingly, they felt it was in my gene 😀😀 not to read.

I see many children facing this. They go back to the same teacher and environment that all they do is shame and pitch them against others. Instead of developing love for life and learning, they h@te themselves.

The more they get shamed, they will accept it as their reality and live with it.

I have seen children who have made 360 degree turn around by changing school (environment) but many schools and teachers don’t ask the right questions they just want to take the glory.

Remember, plants don’t grow in toxic environment except they were designed to survive in a toxic environment.

Until we start asking what is the nature of a child, what conditions are necessary for healthy development of human beings, what happens if this conditions aren’t met, we will keep chasing shadows.
