BATHROOM- A SACRED AND A DANGEROUS PLACE

The bathroom is a room where its four walls sees the private and sensual parts of individual's body when we enter it every day to wash away our dirtiness or impurities.

Therefore, it should be considered as a sacred, cleansing, refreshing, restoring and self care sensual spiritual transforming place.
Believe it or not, there are some unseen forces in the bathroom space.

Among many that have slipped and slumped in the bathroom, only about 1% of them have survived to tell the story. And those few that survived have scars that remind them of their experiences.

Before modernisation, our grandparents built both bathrooms and toilets away from the main building because they knew the sacredness and the spiritual implications attached to it.

We must consider these vital factors as we construct our bathrooms and toilets within the buildings and more importantly, when we want to use them:

*. You must learn to utter some protection prayers as you enter the bathroom or toilet.

*. Avoid singing while you are in those rooms.
*. Never rush out of the bathroom or toilet for any reason.
* Learn to pray quietly for yourself as you take your bath.
* Avoid entering both rooms at night without any light.
Note that:
* The floor must be purposefully built to prevent slippery.
*. The floor must always be dry from water and soap.
* Check out all electrical gadgets especially the hot water before use.

Orthodox medicines are made from plants, animals, minerals and combined with chemical compounds as its active substance.

Herbal medicine is mainly made from aeriel or underground parts of plants as its active substance.

Both types of medicines are used to treat internal and external diseases of human body.

The truth is Herbal medicines are by far less concentrated, less toxic and are used in much lower doses while Orthodox medicines are highly concentrated drug formulations, which undoubtedly are in high doses and toxic hence their side effects and your doctor may ask you to stop taking a particular prescribed drug if you have some complaints because they know the compositions.

Orthodox medicines are designed to target and reverse specific pathologies in the minimum space of time while Herbal medicines
generally disrupt the physiological processes of any disease to restore and enhance the body’s own healing mechanisms thereby eliminating a variety of diseases usually in a gradual process.

FRUITS IN SEASON

How often do you take advantage of fruits in season for your wellness? God does not make those juicy, fleshy and sweet fruity for our wonders. Not at all.

The main purpose is for us to take full advantage of them to maintain good health through eating, of course. You just need to take the appropriate quantity of such fruits also at the right time. However, you shouldn't overeat them. Remember, too much of everything is bad.

I bet you, everything is not about swallowing pills or taking drugs. That long-term disease or illness or symptoms you are experiencing may be due to lack of some micronutrients in your diet.

IS SUGAR GOOD OR BAD FOR OUR HEALTH?

Someone asked me this question today and I will like to share my response to him with you.

Yes, sugar is very important for our wellness. Sugar is the main fuel that helps us to stay active and healthy. The cells of the body in our vital organs and brains need sugar ( glucose) used as energy to function well. However, the question we should ask is what type or from which source should we get healthy sugar?

It will be disastrous if you get most of the sugar you consume from added sugar which are abundant in processed foods and drinks.
We tend to consume more than the required amount of sugar our body literally needs because of the sweetness of the food and drinks we enjoy. That's why we are faced with obesity, hbp, diabetes, hormonal imbalance e.t.c.

The healthy sugar must be got from carbohydrates, fruits, protein and healthy fat in their ADEQUATE PROPORTION. Therefore, the next time you want to eat, choose natural sugar over added sugar to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
