Alcohol-Related Liver Disease (ALD):
Caused by excessive alcohol intake, leading to liver inflammation, fibrosis, and cirrhosis.
Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD):
Characterized by excess fat accumulation in the liver, often associated with obesity, high blood sugar, and high cholesterol.
Hepatitis:
Inflammation of the liver, typically due to viral infections (like Hepatitis A, B, or C), alcohol, or toxins.
Autoimmune Diseases:
Conditions like Autoimmune Hepatitis, where the immune system attacks the liver.
Biliary Diseases:
Conditions affecting the bile ducts, such as Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), which cause bile to build up and damage the liver.
