SAFEtainability Day 2025 – Free Practical First Aid Training!
“Sustainability Starts with Saving Lives”
On Sunday, May 25th, 2025, over 100 individuals gathered for a life-transforming experience at the Day 2025 Training, a tuition-free initiative organised by the QHSES Leadership Academy and The SustainablePeople in collaboration with First Aid Services Nigeria.
The event was born out of the strong partnership between QHSES Leadership Academy and First Aid Services Nigeria, aimed at building responsible leaders and promoting a culture of preparedness and public safety as part of a sustainable future for all.
What Participants Learned:
With 91 participants registered for training certificates, this intensive programme delivered hands-on, practical training sessions covering:
Basic Life Support (BLS):
- Adult, Child, and Infant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Management of Drowning and Choking.
Emergency Trauma Management:
- Bleeding Control.
- Management of Soft Tissue Injuries (Sprains and Strains).
- Management of Fractures.
Casualty Handling:

- Scene Safety & Immediate Emergency Care.
Participants didn’t just learn theory, they were fully engaged in realistic simulations, outdoor demonstrations, and interactive group activities, including how to handle Multiple Casualty Incidents (MCI) like professional First Aiders in high-stress scenarios.
Why This Training Matters
