Part 2

Today I and my siblings are doing well and instead of celebrating our Papa, all we have are memories of his struggles to provide for us. We can only remember him as a part of our past as he passed away 2years ago from colon cancer.
My only regret is that we discovered too late when there was little medicine could do anymore. If only we had known about a colonoscopy procedure and how often he ought to have been doing a colonoscopy check.

Get checked today and have your loved ones get checked too.

Part 1

Papa was a healthy man. He strived so much growing up but was always showing up with a smile and ever ready to play some more with us even though his eyes showed how tired and stressed he was and his palms betrayed how hard and rough he worked to provide for us.
He did many jobs just to provide for our necessities and also afford us some happy delights. Today I and my siblings are doing well and instead of celebrating our Papa…

Monday health motivation. Repost from

Keep this in mind this week:
Your hands may look clean, but that is not the case. CDC studies show that there can be up to 500,000 bacteria per square centimeter on the human hand. All of these bacteria and viruses can cause serious diarrhea and even life-threatening respiratory illness. Isn’t it now better that you wash your hands regularly than having to treat a respiratory or diarrhea illness!

You need to wash your hands often with soap and warm water under running water for at least 20 seconds in a specific way to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others.

You should wash your hands:
-Before and after eating or drinking
-Before handling food
-After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing
-After using the bathroom
-After being near someone who is ill
-After touching handrails or other things handled by many people
-After handling garbage or trash

Remember, hand-washing is a win for everyone, except the germs.
Proper hand hygiene is key to prevent illness.

A Colonoscopy is a procedure that allows a healthcare provider to see inside your large intestine. This procedure is done with a flexible camera called a scope. The scope is a flexible fibre-optic instrument that is inserted through the a**s in order to examine the colon or the large intestine.
This test is used to check out symptoms like bleeding, as well as look for polyps, tumor and possible signs of colon cancer
In many cases, colonoscopy allows accurate diagnosis and treatment without the need for a major operation which can be done immediately.
Colonoscopies aren't usually painful and most patients receive a sedative before the procedure starts. The sedative makes you so sleepy that you usually don't feel or remember anything of the procedure.

An Endoscopy is a nonsurgical procedure used to examine a person's digestive tract. Using an endoscope, a flexible tube with a light and camera attached to it, your doctor can view pictures of your digestive tract on a TV monitor.
The procedure is really quick and takes about 5-10 minutes to complete. This is not a painful procedure, however a patient will feel some discomfort.
