WE ARE GOING TO LEARN HOW TO TRACK AND UNDERSTAND OUR MENSTRUAL CYCLE.
Understanding your body system is so important and crucial when it comes to trying to conceive in general, not only for choosing a gender. The first day of your menstrual flow is your cycle day one (CD1) which includes light red blood. Note that Brown spotting doesn’t count as a period. On your CD1, get a calendar and mark that date as the first day of your period, this is day one. You can continue to mark the days you have the flow until the end of the flow. Once the flow stops, wait till the next time you see your period and mark the date on the calendar too. . Always have a backup if you Calculating Your Menstrual Cycle Length Assuming that your CD1 was on the first day of the month as shown on the calendar above, let’s also assume that the next flow started on the 29th of that same month, then that would be a 28-days cycle. Count the number of days from the first day of your last menstrual flow (period) to the day before the current period. Do not include the first day of your next period. Remember, that it is the beginning of another cycle. The example is given for illustration purposes. To know your cycle length from the one you marked on your calendar,
