For the men folk, at certain age especially from forty years and above, it is good to begin to adjust into more mature lifestyle up from the hitherto exuberant, boisterous youth bachelorhood lifestyle, and nightclubbing, as the case may be.

(Part Three)

....this was in the seventies, just few years after the Nigerian/Biafran war. He sold the proceeds to feed his dear mother, until the mother happily fulfilled, passed on naturally after twelve additional years at the ripe age of ninety-five years.

This shows that the love bond between mother and child is as strong as steel. So it is, nature has bestowed this position to the women folk, of course, only for those women who graduate to be mothers.

.....Let us retract a bit, please fathers don't be jealous about all of these because when the child is born and becomes an adult, in most cases, it is the love of the mother that is paramount in the mind of the grown adult and ninety percent of love is showered to her mom, in filial bond women largely have an undisputed upper hand.

This secret belongs to God. Fathers day celebration is only a jest or mockery, except in very rare cases, you can expect mere freebies, but mother's day celebration is very strong with cultural attachment & glamour, it is also socially & widely recognized, the love bond attracts overwhelming lavish gifts & benefits for the mothers, in fact they say that in marriage, the men have fought a lost battle because it is the women that gets all the dividends.
The men are just servants working for the women & their children, and that women even holds the key of life of the men which can be terminated at the whims & pleasure of the women.

History has it that children and their mothers have made greatest sacrifices for each other, that is why a son is like a surrogate husband, recall and contrast the epic Greek love mythology of Oedipus complex between mother, son, & the father summarizing such deep & complex love, while the daughter is also seen as a surrogate sister or mother, being the closest adult female to her.

THE LOVE OF MOTHER - CHILD BOND:

(Part One)

The greatest love sacrifices in life is between mothers and child love bond. In humans, most times, the love is positive, but again love pushed too far can also be negative or a menace, & in some extreme cases can lead to infanticide, matricide, or su***de.

This maternal love is even stronger in the lower animals of the mammals, especially in the wild, for instance the cubs of a lioness,even the alpha male dare not interfere talk less of other predators, & you can see the mother of all battles for the protection of the cubs at work.

For the humans, sometimes the mothers claim this love bond as a natural right & therefore dissipate, or display the authority of control over her children, & by extension if they get married, this mothers want to control every body, the daughter - in-law, the son-in-law, & every other person that matters in the linage.

It is this love bond that drives & spreads its tentacles, and you can also observe the passive role of the father, the fathers don't meddle into such issues, it is usually the mothers.

For this love bond, so many factors are responsible which includes biological, spiritual, psychological & even physical, research is still on going to uncover more reasons why this bond is so, but the more general factors are obvious given the fact that the child or fetus lives in the mother's womb for the average of nine months, & in some mammals it's even more, & during this period, communications & discussions are going on between the mother and the unborn child, so this bond begins from the womb.

Usually this is the early formation of several biological makeups, the brain, the nerves, the blood vessels, the heart, the lungs taking all the building blocks & nutrients from the mother & beyond this, there is the spiritual level where this bond is even stronger, which includes the emotions, conscience, & consciousness......go to part two🌺🌺🌺
