How to Get 1K Subscribers Fast!

A long time ago, we started just like you—figuring things out as we went.

Back then, there weren’t many videos explaining how to get more views or even how to get monetized. No clear guides… nothing.

So, like most beginners, we’d start our videos by telling people:
“Please subscribe and turn on the notification bell”—right at the beginning of the video.

Looking back now…
That’s actually one of the worst ways to get subscribers ❌❌

It was pure trial and error for us.

We’d ask questions like:
“What if we tried this?” or “Maybe this one will work?”

Then, one day, a simple idea changed everything…

“What if we just deliver on one of the promises we made in the title…..and then ask people to subscribe after we’ve helped them?”

That was the shift.

We already knew what people were searching for, so we started creating videos that answered real questions.
And a week later…
Our subscriber count doubled—and just kept growing!

Now, one video can bring in 100+ subscribers,
Another one? 600+ 😁😁

It became fun! And it finally made sense.

So here’s the point:

Don’t ask for subscribers too early.
Instead, start delivering value immediately—
then say something like:

“I’ve got more helpful stuff like this coming.
Hit the subscribe button so you don’t miss it!
And turn on the bell to get notified right away!”

It’s simple. It’s respectful. And it works ✅

Last time I told you that the niche you decide to venture into would dictate
1. When you get monetized
2. How much views your video can get
3. How hard monetization will be for you.
And a lot more. So please be sure to pick the right one.

Let's start today's own😊
Just like in universities, there are many courses!
And the course you wish to study would tell how much you will be making in the future and you can also predict what life would be like for you after school. If you studied surveying and Geo-informatics like I did, you become a surveyor. And as a IT student you can make is approximately N2m for that year (of course if you remove your expenses it would reduce)
However, if you studied accounting or banking and finance, as an IT student, you would maybe be favoured and paid 40k a month. And if you spend the whole 12 months which is not likely to happen, you would make N480,000 total. If you remove your expenses then it's maybe around 200k for that year.
You may ask why the big difference in these two Fields, even though they're both IT students.

If a Surveying IT student is paid even N30k a month, as long as on the side he's going to site with surveyors and can network himself with other surveyors, a day's work is within 5k-20k. A day's work! And that's just on the side. And if the student builds a good relationship with lots of surveyors within his or her first 3-5 months, they will earn like crazy the remaining months! The key is — he or she just has to know how to work for more than one boss.

That's a typical example of How your niche will treat you and the kind of money you can make based on your decision.

Here's the main gist you should know before I close this insight for today.
As an advertised, whether it's in the tech industry or Health industry any industry you can think of, what do you suppose they want after they've paid?

Customers!!! If no one has ever told you this before, when it comes to advertising, these social media platforms use a strategy to get money from advertisers!! They call it *"Bidding"*

If you don't know what bidding means, you must have watched American movies where people raise their hands up to pay more for something and everyone starts naming their prices and whoever can pay more will end up winning.

That's what these socials do! All of them!!! Facebook & Instagram? Same! Twitter? Linked in? All of them

And they can pay as much as $50-$500 daily!! Depends on the advertisers budget. As long as these social media platforms promise to show their adverts to over a million people, of course they will pay and it's guaranteed they will get customers.

So when you create educational videos, you will earn higher than someone who's in the entertainment niche.

Someone who creates a video on how to invest in the stock market will make more videos on just 10k views and good watch time.

Compared to an entertainment channel that creates a funny video and gets over 100k views!
Keep this in mind!

Welcome to the "WHAT YOU MAY NOT KNOW" Series.

A lot of us would argue that those women who sell pepper in the road side or those who just sell small quantities of provisions can never get rich doing that. They can't right?🤔

Yes, they can't —we shouldn't forget that her and her kid's daily expenses are on the little money she makes from that one business. So yeah she can't!

You know this, but you make the same mistake when you venture into YouTube😏.

Let me explain,
The type of niche you decide to go into will break you or make you!
Let me cite an example.

I once asked one of our students which niche she's planing to get into, she replied *"Ai storytelling"*

I smiled and asked how much she's planning on making with YouTube in a year, specifically lthe year she gets monetized.

*" I want to make $23,000"*

I just asked her if she understands what the term "CPM" means . obviously she said No.

And I explained a bit by telling her that the way YouTube makes money itself is by advertisers! Advertisers pay YouTube to help them advertise their product to specific audience.
And these audience are simply people that you've spent your time and energy accumulating as "Subscribers".
Now whet you need to understand is that these advertisers have what they're willing to pay to acquire customers and that's where the term CPM comes up

Is Video Description Important?
Should you add descriptions to your videos?

What would it help with?

You should add descriptions to your videos! Last year, while observing scores of best performing videos that showed on my feed, I noticed a great number of these videos had well optimized written descriptions in them. And not just that, for that video, they added necessary hashtags for the videos!

So, the question shouldn’t be “Should I add descriptions to my videos” it should be “What should be in my descriptions!

If you ask that way, you understand that it’s no longer an option to add descriptions, rather it’s compulsory — the focus then becomes “What should be there”

You already have access to tools like Tubebuddy and VidIQ to help you know what type of keywords you want to use in your description.

Let me explain,

The algorithm is simply a set of instructions executing that instructions now is what is the result of videos that blow up or get good views and the ones that don’t follow that parameter are forgotten. Now among those instructions, we know by experience that the algorithm is programmed to follow what people are actively searching for! And it is also tasked with the job of putting the right video in front of people searching for this keywords! Now we use tools like Tubebuddy or VidIQ to know what’s been typed on Youtube like what people are searching for, and then, we create a video— the problem now becomes “just like over a thousand people who has seen this trend, how do I make sure my video gets views” you make sure you use those words in your description! You get creative at this point.

Sometimes, the keyword “Marketing Tutorial” can have low search ratings like maybe 1k search in a month. Whereas “Marketing Training for Beginners” can have a high search rate like 27,000 per month, but the competition using this keyword is very high— then you begin to think of which one you should use. And you know well that your video answers these two keyword

As a lady, If you've been exploring the world of affiliate marketing, you've probably heard conflicting advice – some say you need a website, others emphasize social media or YouTube channels. Sure, these methods work, but they demand time, knowledge, and a long-term commitment.

When I started, my team and I made our first affiliate sale by focusing on our audience, creating a targeted landing page, and driving traffic through Facebook ads. It worked, but relying solely on this approach turned out to be a costly mistake. I spent more on acquiring customers than I earned in profit.

That's why I want to share a better way, especially for beginners. This isn't just about a one-time success; it will continually bring people to you in your affiliate marketing journey.

My friend and mentor, Gabriel Amos, outperformed me in this business. Week after week, he received messages in his inbox, proving consistent success. While he didn't disclose exact figures, I can share that he was earning substantial amounts from two affiliate programs, Expertnaire and DigitStem, possibly close to $100 (N90k plus) weekly from each. he was on the Christian group one day and decided to share one of the things he knew on the platform and he said that was the first time his phone kept making sound almost every minute, he said his Facebook post got over 2,000 likes and over 1,000 comments. This was what birth the idea and what made him his first $1000+, he said he would go to the groups and create short posts about the opportunities his company was providing and he would request

that people drop their WhatsApp number if they were interested, and it turns out people were dropping their numbers, he would message them and this process continued for over 50 days which brought in a total of $1,050 without spending a dime on ads. There you have it an idea that works, although he told me he used other platforms like Twitter then, but I am keeping a very big truth from you! It didn’t just work like that, people didn’t just drop their number to a random person online to just message them for an opportunity, the truth is he optimized his profile on Facebook. When you optimize your profile on Facebook you don’t need to show people proof of withdrawal before they buy from you, you don’t need to be scared of if they would buy from you! Selling
