It is recommended to observe a stretching routine before and after workouts inorder to avoid injury and improve flexibility.

However, overstretching your muscles significantly beyond their normal range of motion can result to injury.

It is advised to start your stretch slowly until you reach a point of muscle tension and then hold it for up to 20 seconds.

A sharp or stabbing pain means that you’re stretching your muscles beyond their capacity for flexibility which could result to an injury.

So make sure to stay hydrated,
use proper form when stretching and working out,
use proper gear and footwear,
and avoid exercising when you’re overly tired or in pain.

Some essential oils that help to relieve headaches are; Lavender Oil, Peppermint oil, Basil, wintergreen, and ylang-ylang.

Ways to apply:

1. You can keep a bottle of these essential oils in your cabinet/bag for the fragrance, this will allow you have easy access to it.

2. Incorporating safely into your body oil (please adhere to safety limits)

3. Steam inhalation

4. Adding a few drops to a diffuser and letting it spread the oil into the air.

Please do not apply directly to the skin and avoid contact with eyes.
