🩺 Seven lifestyles that can damage your liver.

1. Excessive alcohol consumption: Alcohol abuse is a leading cause of liver damage, leading to conditions like fatty liver disease, alcoholic hepatitis, and cirrhosis.

2. Drinking too much soda: Drinking a lot of soft drinks can increase the risk of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

3. Eating fried foods: Fried foods are high in fat and calories. Consuming too much fat can increase the risk of non alcoholic fatty liver disease.

4. Consuming too much sugar: Consuming too much sugar can harm your liver. It uses one type of sugar, called fructose, to make fat. Too much refined sugar and high-fructose corn syrup cause a fatty buildup that can lead to liver disease.

5. Eating too much red meat: Red meat is high in saturated fat. Consuming too much saturated fat can increase the risk of non alcoholic fatty liver disease.

6. Eating too much salt: Consuming too much salt can increase the risk of non alcoholic fatty liver disease. A high-salt diet can cause inflammation in the liver, leading to scarring and fat accumulation.

7. Taking too much vitamin A: Taking supplements that have high doses of vitamin A can be a problem for your liver.

*Hepatitis*

*What is hepatitis?*
An inflammation of the liver basically

*MOST COMMON TYPES*

*Hepatitis B*
A serious liver infection caused by the hepatitis B virus that's easily preventable by a vaccine.

*Hepatitis C*
An infection caused by a virus that attacks the liver and leads to inflammation.

*Alcoholic hepatitis*
Liver inflammation caused by drinking too much alcohol.

*Autoimmune hepatitis*
Inflammation in the liver that occurs when the immune system attacks the liver.

*Hepatitis D*

A serious liver disease caused by infection with the hepatitis D virus.

*Hepatitis A*

A highly contagious liver infection caused by the hepatitis A virus.

Hepatitis E

Causes of
Hepatitis:

📌Immune cells in the body attacking the liver
📌Infections from viruses (such as hepatitis A, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C), bacteria, or parasites
📌Liver damage from alcohol or poison
📌Medicines, such as an overdose of acetaminophen
📌Fatty liver
📌Liver disease can also be caused by inherited disorders such as cystic fibrosis or hemochromatosis, a condition that involves having too much iron in your body.

📌Other causes include Wilson disease, a disorder in which the body retains too much copper and ingestion of toxic mushrooms.

*Symptoms include*

The symptoms of hepatitis include:

📌Pain or bloating in the belly area or belly protrusion
📌Dark urine and pale or clay-colored stools
Fatigue
📌Low grade fever
Itching
📌Jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes)
📌Loss of appetite
📌Nausea and vomiting
📌Weight loss

*Possible lab tests to detect early infection or progressive viral load include:*

📌Ultrasound of the abdomen
📌Autoimmune blood markers
📌Blood tests to diagnose Hepatitis A, B, or C
📌Liver function tests
📌Liver biopsy to check for liver damage (may be needed in some cases)
📌Paracentesis (if fluid is in your abdomen)

*Can stem cell therapeutic solutions help?*

*Absolute YES!*

Stem cells have the exceptional capacity to develop into numerous cell types and facilitate tissue regeneration, rendering them a highly promising therapeutic avenue for hepatitis. In animal models, stem cell therapy has demonstrated worthy results by reducing liver inflammation and improving liver function.
