Marriage is a beautiful thing however there will be ups and downs. What matters most is how you resolve conflicts because there will be a lot of them.
The first few years of marriage will be the most stressful part because you are still getting to know each other, so give yourselves some grace.

People go into marriage with a lot of unrealistic expectations because they do not know better, but eventually when they get into the marriage proper some of them get to understand that it may not be as expected.

Marriage is a journey so prepare for it. Put in all the effort you can to make it work and know your roles in your marriage. Always prioritize each other and make room for your own personal growth and development.

Be intentional towards each other. Pray together, make time for each other, plan things together, respect each other’s opinion and do what is right at all times. And indeed your marriage can be GREAT, if the both of you put in 100% effort to make it work.

Believe me when I tell you that I have failed in many things in lifeā€¦šŸ’”šŸ˜©

I have failed in some subjects in school, I failed and struggled in some other personal areas I do not want to talk about yetā€¦šŸ„¹

But you know what? It has never for once stopped me from trying again regardless of how I felt after failing. I cry out my eyes and feel the pain whenever I fail at anything but I still somehow summon the courage to pick up myself and try again and again.šŸ’Ŗ

It is not easy believe me, but again I will rather try again than stop because I simply failed. My point is, it takes people with a strong mindset to keep trying despite failing at something they really wanted for themselves.

If you are currently experiencing such setbacks please do not give up on yourselfā€¦šŸ™ Yes, only you might feel your pain and know your stuggle but eventually with time and experience you will get it right someday.

This is a message of encouragement for others to keep trying because life may seem unfair to you but do not give up on yourself yet, just keep trying till you win. Failing and Struggling is a normal part of life so having a shift in your mindset on how you face challenges is already a step in the right direction.šŸ’ÆšŸ™

How to deal with Angerā€¦šŸ˜”šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

Step 1- Acknowledge that you have anger issues and that you need help

Step 2- Start becoming aware of your ā€œ anger emotion or feelingsā€ when you are actually angry

Step 3- Pause and take a deep breath until you are calm or better still leave the provoking situation immediately.

Step 4- Ask yourself why you are angry?

Step 5- Rethink the whole scenario or situation that provoked you and determine a more healthy course of action

Step 6-Make peace with yourself and you can choose to forgive or ignore whomever provoked you

Step 7- Repeat the same steps whenever you find yourself getting angry again…

Managing your anger will be difficult at first, but over time you can master these skills and learn to pace yourself when you are angry to avoid harm to others and self destruction.

Your Partner Will Fail You - You’ll Fail Them

No one gets it right all the time. Your partner will forget things. Say the wrong words. Fall short. And guess what? You’ll fail them too. That’s reality. So, extend grace - you’ll need it too.

Marriage isn’t about perfection - it’s about grace. Forgiveness. Second chances. Love doesn’t mean you never hurt each other. It means you heal together, again and again.

Expect flaws. Expect humanness. You didn’t marry a machine - you married a soul with wounds, moods, and past pain. Failing each other doesn’t break marriage - giving up does.

Real love is tested when mistakes happen. It grows in apology, patience, and repair. Keep choosing each other, even when it’s hard. That’s how trust is built.

You’ll both fail - sometimes badly. But failure isn’t the end. It’s a crossroad. Choose to rebuild. Choose to stay. That’s where deeper love lives. That’s how lifelong love survives.

Everything that is happening to you now is telling you something. Reflect on your past and present experiences and see what you can learn from it.
There will be definitely be one, two or more lessons to learn from your experiences.
I can tell you first hand that my experiences both the good and bad ones has molded me into becoming a better version of myself.

Do not let your setbacks hold you down, use them as lessons to rise back up stronger.

PROBLEMS are part of life and facing them is an art of life.šŸ‘Œ

Mindset shift is knowing how to embrace conflicts and most importantly knowing how to resolve conflicts.

Now, it is crucial to understand that not every problem can be solved and not getting a quick solution is a normal part of life because a lot of problem needs TIME to resolve, be it in a few minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or even years.

Conflict resolution comes with having these 3key factors;
1. An open mind
2. Understanding the problem
3. And having the patience to see it through
And if you keep these 3 things in mind, you have already solved half of the problem.šŸ’Æ

Also, always give yourself time and grace when resolving conflicts so as to lessen the pressure of trying to resolve the issue.

I hope this message helps anyone, who is going through serious life problems, a solution will come just give it time.
