Hello Beautiful People,

How are you today?

We have finally reached the weekend after a hectic, fast‑moving week. This is your gentle reminder to slow down, breathe, and give yourself permission to rest.

Take some time over the next couple of days to do something just for you. It doesn’t have to cost a thing go for a peaceful walk, play your favourite music, sing your heart out, write your thoughts down, or simply sit in stillness. Choose whatever calms your spirit and brings you back to yourself.

Remember, you cannot pour into others if your own cup is empty. Setting aside time for yourself is not selfish it is necessary. You are unique, you are valuable, and you deserve moments of care, comfort, and pampering.

Wishing you a weekend that restores your energy and reminds you of your worth.

A regular listener on our mental health show on KONFAM FM , every Thursday and Friday… shared his experience with sexual abuse as a young boy, by a much older woman.

Every single week we have discussed “Sex Abuse Targeted at The Boy Child”, our phone lines keep buzzing off the hook with men who want to share their experience with r@pe as minors.

Parents must be on the lookout for predators.

Key facts you should know about predators:

1. They groom their victims and their entire family members ( this is done to gain the trust of all family members before abuse is perpetrated).

2. They always appear to be responsible, “God fearing “, and in some cases highly religious.

3. They test boundaries to see how much the adults in that household will tolerate (they show up late at night, they stay late into the night at your home).

4. They have an unusual “love “ for kids.

5. They chose their victims families very carefully ( and they economically disadvantaged families, single parent households in many cases, authoritarian parents, vulnerable single mother.

6, They begin isolating the victim by paying special attention to them eg buying them gifts for no particular reason, constantly praising them, calling them pet names no other person calls them .

7 Abuse is more of often than not, perpetuated by well known to the children. Every single man that called into this show revealed that they were abused by someone well known to them.

It is important to note that while pe******ia may not always be the case going by the examples above, it is important parents protect their children from abuse by being highly selective of who is let into their homes.

WE DEY FOR YOU!!

Hello Beautiful People

I hope you had a peaceful and restful night. Today is a celebration of love in all its forms and that includes the love you show yourself. Be gentle with your heart. Give yourself permission to slow down, to breathe, and to do something that makes you feel cared for.

Whether you are spending the day with someone special or simply embracing your own company, may it be filled with warmth, meaning, and moments that remind you how valued you truly are.

Whatever you choose, let it bring you genuine happiness and allow yourself to fully enjoy the present moment.

Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️🌹

Whenever I talk mental health, I do it from a place of not just passion, but from personal experience.

It’s important conversations about mental health are continuous.

If people living with mental health problems could, they would.
