We are Golden Hour Medics limited, the number one Specialized Emergency Medical Care (First Aid) Training Organization in Nigeria. We train Corporate Organizations, Schools, Families and Individuals on the basic First Aid skills that will enable them stay prepared in the event of any common medical emergency which can occur at homes or in our work places. Our team is made up of well-trained Medical Doctors, Paramedics and HSE Experts. Our First Aid training is designed to practically educate individuals on how to respond calmly and confidently to the common medical emergency cases before help arrives and also how to prevent and manage fire outbreaks. Our organization was set up due to the need to equip every adult with basic first aid and basic life support skills. Survey shows that some of the medical cases that present to the hospitals were not successful, primarily due to no/poor first aid care they received minutes after the incident. In Nigeria, there is almost no Paramedic care; the first care after an accident is usually at the hospital and the journey to the hospital could run into hours considering several challenges. The importance of emergency care training therefore cannot be over emphasized in this environment. With our training, you will be well equipped with the basic First Aid skills required to keep someone in a medical emergency alive and stable till they get to the hospital. This of course will make your Organization stand out among equals. Our training is invaluable to every adult and teenager because in medical emergencies, every second counts. We shall train you on how to manage the following medical emergencies:
• Unconsciousness with/without breathing… CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation),
• Choking,
• Sudden seizure,
• Ingestion of poisonous or toxic substances,
• Dislocation and fractures,
• Burns (electric, flames, steam and chemical burns),
• Bleeding from cuts and stabs,
• Animal bites & stings,
• Stroke (Cardiovascular Accident),
• Heart Attack,
• Chest and Abdominal injuries,
• Head injuries etc
We will also educate you on Healthy living and Ergonomics. Our training is very practical (with visuals) and lasts for 4 hours. It can be held at your premises or at our training center in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos. The participants will get certificate of participation and training manual after the session. Our Office is in Lagos but we have experts in different parts of the country. So far, we have trained officers of the Federal Fire Service, Nigerian Police and some Corporate staff in Organizations like Diamond bank Plc, Dupont Nemors ltd, James Cubit ltd etc and we have trained over 500 teachers and students in different parts of Lagos, Portharcourt and Abuja. Last year, we partnered with Cornerstone Insurance Plc (on their 2016 CSR project) to train over 1,000 students in 20 secondary schools in Lagos state.
