Cessation of breastfeeding has taken so many shapes , sizes and forms and here are a few I have heard.
🌿🌿 People rubbing bitter leaf on the breast to make it look and taste horrifying.
💊 Rubbing flagyl on the breast to make it taste and look horrible. PLEASE THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED
✈️ Mummy Going on exile
🚀Sending the baby on exile
🍼 Gradually reducing the frequency of breastfeeding
🛑 Stopping abruptly and going cold turkey 😭😭😭 the cultist way 🤣🤣🤣.
✋Sometimes the babies stop by themselves.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 as how now??
❌ Babies do not need or benefit from head, nose, or bu**um shaping. Any head shape baby ends up with is genetically predetermined, so just marry right if head shape is so important for you. 😭😭🤣🤣🤣

❌Not crying loud is NOT a sign of a tongue tie. Not every baby has a huge cry.

❌ Burning the cord with hot towel does not prevent colic or tummy troubles

❌ Violent Stretching of a baby is not massage it is tribulation.

❌ there is no need to apply silver bird to the fontanel. It is a normal opening. Silver bird can cause jaundice which can cause brain damage in children.
Share with everyone you know. Bbl no dey work for baby 😭😭🤣.

Yes now na spiritual warfare remain 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. As you don use everything I been wan give you. Because our weapons of warfare are not carnal.
Just a quick notice ooo on self medication.
❌ Antibiotics are neither first aid nor over the counter. Apart from the fact that they may not be necessary, abuse can contribute to resistance.
❌ You should not treat malaria without getting a positive test result.
❌ Injections without seeing a qualified health care professional is not recommended at all. Anyone can tell you have typhoid and malaria and jab you with anything they like, meanwhile all you needed was sleep and credit alert.
❌ Certain drug combinations can not only be ineffective, they can be dangerous in the way they interact with one another.
❌ Self medication leads to delay in coming to the hospital. You might lose 3 or 4 days treating the went thing before you come to us. That delay can be disastrous in children.
In summary avoid self medication with prescription medications and be cautious with over the counter drugs in children.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 e straight abi e no straight.
I realize that this idea of giving calcium to children because their legs are bow comes from the idea that rickets is caused by calcium deficiency.
But I promise you. That child that is jumping around in my office and eating everything in sight is unlikely to have rickets.
Bowing of the legs is just one sign of rickets. We look out for poor growth, irritability, weak muscles and thickened wrists and ankles.
So please avoid starting calcium supplements for your child without discussing with your doctor.
Bow legs in children below 3 years is a normal and expected developmental stage.
If it persists beyond 3 years, or one is bow and the other is straight or the bowing is severe enough to limit mobility or causes pain or limp, then we will evaluate further.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 they will display very well until they get to the hospital after which everything you complained about miraculously stops. 🤣🤣🤣.
Newborns shake in their sleep. They shake their hands and legs and this is called “benign neonatal sleep myoclonus”
If it happens only in sleep we don’t consider it to be unusual. But if it happens when baby is awake we would usually run a few tests just to rule out anything strange.
Did your baby have this condition and did they shame you by refusing to shake in the hospital? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Please stop putting spoon inside the mouth of a convulsing child. What would have been a simple matter go turn to ICU and surgery. I know this information may not be for you but please I still saw patient that did it today!! Abeg share this information abeg!

11/02/2026

If you like continue putting your finger into the mouth of a child that is convulsing. Shebi wetin suppose be one patient go turn to two because we go begin dey find your finger for ground 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Please do NOT do any of the following when a child is convulsing.
❌ Put fingers, spoon or anything else into the mouth of a convulsing child.
❌ Put the feet into a fire
❌ Pour onions, salt or pepper or maggi into any orifices.
❌ Force them to drink snake oil, crude oil, cow urine or the urine of an old woman.
❌ Pour water on them
❌ Press them down to try to stop the convulsion.
All these are dangerous.
Look out for part 2 for what to do for a convulsing child.

11/02/2026

My dear. Convulsions in children are terrifying. But…………no amount of paracetamol can prevent them.
I am highlighting this not to prevent you from giving paracetamol when they have a fever, but to help you manage your expectations that a child that you give paracetamol can never have a convulsion. They can ooooo!
Children who are more likely to have a convulsion with a fever are
✅ children in whom one parent or the other had convulsions with fever as a child.
✅ children with epilepsy
✅ Children between 6 months and 5 years of age.
The more important thing to know is what to do if there is a convulsion. Which I will discuss subsequently. Because e no dey hard una neighbor to put cooking utensils for pikin mouth wey dey convulse 🙄🙄.
