Finally we have the Good News!

The HPV vaccine now available at is Gardasil - both the nanovalent (Gardasil 9) and quadri-valent (Gardasil 4) vaccines are available!

Gardasil 9 protects men and women against 9 strains of HPV including Ge***al Warts and therefore a bit more expensive than Gardasil 4.

WHO has approved the use of single dose schedule for young girls and women between 10-14, even up to 21. And for women older than 21, just 2 doses are enough instead of 3!

PS : The 2 doses recommended are spread over 6 months.

Well done to the Team at the Foundation … and kudos to the women that braved the rainy weather in Lagos on Friday to attend the …. Women in Lagos now have 2 locations for cancer screening tests and additional 2 locations are coming up very soon, in Lekki and Awoyaya along Lekki - Epe Expressway!

We are definitely going to win this war against late detection of cancers in Nigeria!
