How I survive the hard days.

‎Sometimes life just pushes you to the edge, doesn’t it?

‎One minute you’re okay, the next minute everything feels heavy; scary thoughts about tomorrow, strange things happening daily etc, it all piles up until you can’t breathe.

‎When it gets too loud in my head, I do this one weird thing that saves me every single time:

‎I switch my brain off from reality.
‎I stop deep thinking. I stop fighting the thoughts. I just stay in the awareness of what is happening around me at the time.
‎I do the daily activities, talk only to people next to me, feel the breeze on my skin, Nothing deep. Nothing spiritual. Just… existing.

‎For a few minutes, or sometimes days, I’m not broken. I’m not scared. I’m not failing.
‎I’m just here. And it’s peaceful.

‎Then slowly, reality knocks again. But you know what? The time spent in blankness gives me strength to keep going.
‎That’s how I escape this cruel world sometimes. Not by running away forever, but by taking tiny breaks from my own mind.

‎Anyone else do this?

‎Or am I the only one who mentally “logs out” when life gets too much?
