Going To Church Does Not Make You A CHRISTIAN.
You can be a church member and
not be a Christian.
Even though you are a member of a church, that won't save you any more than going to the barn will make you a cow! Being a member of a church won't make you a Christian any more than being a member of a country club will make you a Christian.
It will take more than church membership to become a Christian —it will take more
than being baptized in water—to miss hell and make Heaven.
Jesus said, " . . . Ye must be born again" (John 3:7).
To be born again is to turn away from sin and embrace a new life in Christ,
Is to experience God's grace and forgiveness by believing in Jesus Christ,
Is to develop a personal relationship with God and live in a way that honors Him,
Is to be born of His Word and be the doer of His Word.
Matthew 7:21 ERV
“Not everyone who calls me Lord will enter God’s kingdom. The only people who will enter are those who do what my Father in heaven wants.
Certainly I believe in being baptized in water—but only after a person is born again. Certainly I believe in joining a
Bible-based church—but a person will certainly benefit more from church after he is born again. If you merely join a church and are baptized in water without being born again, you will go to hell!
Happy Sunday to all.
