FIRST WEEK PREGNANCY

This may seem very strange, but your pregnancy journey begins before your baby is even conceived! 🤯

Are you shocked? 🤣
Well, you don't have to be.

The first week of pregnancy actually begins with the start of your last menstrual period. Why? Because it's hard to pinpoint exactly when your eggs got fertilized, but the date of your last period is a more accurate starting point. Your doctor will calculate your due date by counting 40 weeks from the start of your last menstrual period.

This is called the Gestational Age, and it's how most doctors measure pregnancies. Because ovulation and conception take place about two weeks after your period begins, your baby's Foetus Age (which begins when your egg is fertilized) will be two weeks less than his Gestational Age. So when you're 8 weeks pregnant, your baby's fetal age is 6 weeks.

Sounds interesting, right? ☺️😁

YOUR BABY'S DEVELOPMENT

During the first week of pregnancy, there's no major development of your baby, other than the egg leaving the o***y and travelling through the fallopian tubes. You're not actually pregnant at this time, since conception itself doesn't happen until about two weeks after your period ends.

Still, this week is included in the pregnancy calendar to help the doctor calculate your EDD (Expected Delivery Date).

YOUR BODY

During pregnancy, your healthy habits and your baby's health go hand in hand. While trying to conceive, take the time to prepare your body for motherhood.
You know it's a very beautiful stage of womanhood and you need to give it all the attention and care you can🥰

Listen, before becoming pregnant, you should:

1. Avoid alcohol, drugs and to***co products.
Please do this if you love your baby🙏
These substances can cause serious birth defects, fetal alcohol syndrome, respiratory problems, low birth weight and other health problems.

2. Talk to your doctor about any prescription and nonprescription (OTC) drugs you're taking. You'll need to take special precaution with medications because many prescription and over-the-counter medications can negatively affect the fetus. However, don't stop taking prescription drugs without consulting your health care provider, who will help you weigh the potential benefits and risks of stopping your medication.

3. Maintain a diet that contains adequate amount of vitamins, especially folic acid. Women who are attempting to become pregnant should take 400 micrograms of folic acid daily. Adequate folic acid intake reduces the risk of neural tube defects (birth defects caused by incomplete development of the spinal cord and brain), such as spina bifida.

Be sure to talk to your health care provider about taking a folic acid supplement while you are trying to conceive.

Hello powerful women!

Okay, first off, this page is supposed to be all about pregnancy and va**na care.

It's a page that's supposed to promote women's internal and external hygiene and safety.

But recently, we have been receiving lots of messages from stay-home mothers who are seeking for remote jobs they can do at home and earn money.

Some complained of not being financially able to cater for themselves, their pregnancy and babies.

So we are thinking, should we start training women on how to work remotely from their home and earn money in hard currency, so they can be financially free? 🤔

Should we do it?
We need your opinions.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR VA**NA SMELL GOOD

Ever wondered how to make your va**na smell good? I think smelling fresh is important on many counts – an indication of a healthy body, improves self confidence and makes us feel good! Here a list of things you can do to make your va**na smell good, and these tips should not take you much time to implement. Although they may look simple, but together, they pack a punch!

LOAD UP ON THE CITRUS FRUITS AND PINEAPPLES

Citrus fruits like grapefruits, oranges, lemons etc and pineapples have been known to sweeten va**nal discharge and semen alike by many anecdotal sharings. These fruits are packed with vitamin C, which are powerful antioxidants and strong disinfectants. New York based dermatologist Dr. David Colbert suggested that the acids in these fruits help to push water in our bodies, removing toxins while resulting in a pleasant and fruity scent.

MAKE YOUR VA**NA SMELL GOOD BY DRINKING ENOUGH WATER

While the standard guideline is to drink 8 glasses of water each day, people do differ from each other, be it in metabolism rates, and activities level. Instead, I would recommend drinking enough water means when your p*e looks pale yellow, or clear.

When we are dehydrated, our urine becomes acidic and makes us taste sour. Drinking enough water helps us to flush out toxins that makes us stink, and have the added benefits of making our complexions looking dewy. In addition, two published studies indicated that drinking 500 ml (17 oz) of water can temporarily boost metabolism by a 24-30%. It was estimated by the researchers that the sheer fact of drinking 2 liters (68 ounces) water in a day can actually increase your energy expenditure by 96 calories daily! How’s that for a triple win?

GET HERBY

Herbs like rosemary have been known to be a powerful odor eliminator. Incorporate a few sprigs to spritz up your daily water intake, or add it to your bath for some wonderful scents. Other herbs like parsley and mint have also been known to up the refreshing note because the strong oils they contain. Add a few sprigs of mint to your dessert can make a difference to you smelling better down there, especially if frisky nocturnal activities are planned.

CHEW ON IT
Indians have been known to chew on fennel seeds and cardamom seeds to get rid of bad breath post meals. The oils in the fennel and cardamom seeds have antibacterial properties, as well as help neutralize foul smelling odors and aid with digestions. Just pack a few seeds in a small ziplock bag in your purse for some immediate discreet deodorant action.

BECOME VEGETARIAN/VEGAN
Red meat and oily fish has been associated with bad body odors. Ever tasted fermented whale fat? A delicacy in Alaska, but packs a punch for the uninitiated, leaving a foul smell both up and down. For days. E. Adam Kallel, who holds a Ph.D. in Victrix computational and medicinal chemistry consultancy, told the Huffington Post that “You can smell worse within two hours of eating red meat.” Anecdotally, vegetarians and vegans have the best smelling crotches because they eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruits that have great health promoting benefits.

AVOID FOODS THAT MAKES YOU SMELL BAD

As a general rule, if it makes your breath smells bad, or result in really foul smelling farts, it is likely going to make you smell down there too. Foods like garlic, asparagus, onions and most dairy products can leave unpleasant smells that persist in your va**na. While garlic and onions have antibacterial properties, it may be just worth holding them off for a few days if you anticipate having to make your va**na smell good.

GO COFFEE FREE
Coffee smells good, coffee breath does not. Coffee also ends up stinking your p*e, which impacts on the smell-ability of your va**na. If you need the caffeine fix, consider drinking green tea instead. Packed with antioxidants, it helps to fight the growth of bacteria. In addition, the tannin in the leaves has been linked with reducing perspiration. A less sweaty groin is a less smelly groin!

EAT LESS PROCESSED FOODS

Almost all processed foods can be high in sugar, salts, fats and unpronounceable compounds (in any variation). Bacteria that lead to infections love sugar. Having a diet high in sugar and processed foods is almost like giving the green light to infections galore and reducing your body’s ability to regenerate itself. A diet high in sodium increases your risk of dehydration, which is a big no no when it comes to making your va**na smell good. And if you find yourself being unable to pronounce whatever that is in the box, are you sure you really want to put in inside your body? When our bodies do not get a chance to repair itself due to the need to deal with processed foods, it gets laden with toxins and we age far more quickly than normal. We usually end up smelling a little worse for wear when that happens.

STOP SMOKING AND DRINK LESS

I’m not apologetic about this. Smoking is slow styled su***de and unattractive. Smokers in general smell bad due to the burnt to***co smoke in cigarettes/cigars/pipes. Smoke stays in clothes and in hair, and when stale, smells off putting. Some suggest that as the body tries to get rid of the toxins from smoking, one of the ways it does it, is through our urine. If you insist on your brew, stick to wines instead of beers. Beers contain yeast, which can tip the delicate yeast community in our bodies.

Too much yeast can result in yeast infection, which is essentially an overgrowth of yeast in our body. Red Wines, on the other hand, have tannin that is drying, and hence can help with reducing perspiration. However, keep it minimal – a small glass is enough. Alcohol, when metabolized, is flushed out of our system through urine, which will stink.

PRACTICE GOOD PERSONAL HYGIENE

Some people wipe from back to front, and that increases the risk of introducing bacteria from the a**s to the va**na.
To reduce the risk, wipe from front to back instead.
Others may neglect to wipe the nether regions completely dry, or can be a bit heavy handed when they do so. When that happens, the area can be prone to infection due to the humidity, or torn skin from rough wiping.
Tap gently and try to use unscented toilet paper.
Scented products like toilet paper or feminine sprays can irritate the sensitive skins around the v***a, causing inflammation, which usually results in increase in va**na discharge, which can smell off.
Remember to keep nails clean before washing to avoid contamination from gunk under the nails, and preferably short so that you don’t risk scratching the delicate skins around your va**na.
Also take care to remove remnants of toilet paper that might get left behind to avoid leaving guard posts for bacteria to flourish.

MINDFUL OF PLAYFUL Times

While it is prudent to use condoms, and some people enjoy the occasional lubricants, or playing with food like ice cream and chocolate sauces, do be mindful of your skin’s sensitivity to some of the components.
Oil based lubricants usually tend to irritate skin more, and many people are allergic to latex condoms.
While it can be sexy, if you introduce foods like chocolate sauces (high in sugar) into the va**nal canal (albeit accidentally), it may increase your risk of infections due to bacteria overgrowth.
Proceed with caution, please

HANG LOOSE

Ventilation is an important trick in making your va**na smell good.
Wear loose clothing so that blood circulation does not get cut off, and the movement of air can help to dissipate off putting smells.
Hippie skirts are comfortable to wear and feminine looking. Up the style factor by checking out some vintage styles!
The problem with tight clothing, while it can accentuate your lines, unfortunately increases the humidity between our legs, providing an optimal environment for bacteria to grow and flourish.
Humid groin equals to smelly groin.
Breathe
As humans, we breathe to live. Material breathability is also key to make your va**na smell good. Panties using natural fibers like cotton and linen allow moisture to escape, keeping our nether regions dry and comfortable. Synthetic materials can often be waterproof and trap moisture and heat as a result.

You know the best way to keep it airy?

Try going panty-less sometimes. It can be a really liberating experience.

I usually go commando at night to allow my nether regions a chance to breathe. It’s really like how people suggest letting babies go diaper-less for a few hours a day so that the sensitive skin gets a chance to air and reduce risks of developing diaper rashes.

I HOPE THIS HELPED!

Is va**nal odor natural?
Fast facts

Vaginas have natural odors.
Each woman’s va**nal odor is different.
If the unusual odor worsens, consult your doctor.
1) Proper Hygiene for Vaginal

On Weekdays:

Wash the va**nal every day with specialized women’s health products (preferably after each use of the toilet).
Using a female’s health product is similar to using soap, then rinsing it off with clean water. Do not use a gynecological wash to clean other areas of the body. When using a gynecological cleanser, if you find the va**nal is red, abnormal and irritating, you should stop using immediately and see a doctor.

Do not do**he the va**na without doctor’s instructions, as douching can affect the pH, that imbalances vagal physiology.
Do not use detergents or strong soap to clean the va**nal.
Underwear must be washed immediately, do not wash or soak with other people.
Underwear must be exposed to the sun.
After each toilet, urine is often congealed that makes the va**nal wet and have unpleasant odors. Some believe that the smell is a va**nal odor, so it is often overlooked. You wash carefully to keep the area clean to avoid pathogenic bacteria.
On Menstruation Days:

During menstruation, you should wear relatively tight underpants to keep the pe*******on of the ge****ls, but do not wear too tight pants that will be uncomfortable.
The first menstrual bleeding is very clean, but outside is a favorable environment for the bacteria to grow, sometimes itching in the va**nal is so.

Therefore, change sanitary pads frequently, using sanitary pads suitable for each person.

You should change sanitary pads every 6 hours, at least four times a day, if more frequent menstrual change more.
Each time you change, you wash your va**na with clean water, you can use specialized water for women sold in pharmacies, and then dry the va**nal before placing sanitary pads.
Note:

The sanitary pads have a shelf life, they can be degraded depending on the poor storage environment, primarily stored in dark, wet environment. Even when packaged, bacteria can somehow pe*****te into it.

You should not buy a lot of hoarding because it is too easy to be out of date. If you do not use all that should be put in the refrigerator in the freezer compartment because in such the environment to stop harmful bacteria.

2. Stay Away from Odor Foods

Limit odor foods: garlic, sugar beets, green onion, … are heavy-smelling foods. The regular use may cause confusion in the secretions. Restrict the use of many of these foods to limit odors and should use more often than fresh fruits, vegetables or yogurt to keep the area clean and pleasant.

3. Pay Attention to Underwear

Wearing too tight underpants or made from non-absorbent material will keep the va**nal from getting wet, which in turn results in the formation of odor. One advice is to choose the right type of underwear and cotton padding to keep your area dry.

4) Home Remedies to Get Rid of Vaginal Odor

Method 1: Apple Cider Vinegar
Due to the antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, apple cider vinegar can be used against the unpleasant odors. In fact, showering with apple cider vinegar can remove the body odor by the ability to kill toxins and odor causing bacteria.

You mix a glass of water with one or two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar then drink daily.
Or, mix two cups of apple cider vinegar in warm water and pour into your bath tub.
Soak yourself about 20 minutes.
Dry thoroughly with a clean towel. This will help fight off infections and fungus and can contribute to remove bad odors quickly.
Method 2: Betel Leaf

How to do:

Take a handful of betel leaves and wash
Then crumple the leaves and put them into a kettle, pour the boiling water into the leaves
Keep it for about 15 minutes, then wash the va**nal with the water daily.
Or you can crush the betel leaves and put into the potty
Pour hot water into potty then sit in to take a sauna the va**nal.
After the water is cooled down, you wash the va**nal with the water.
The use of betel leaves not in the treatment of va**nal infections for very excellent effect, however, should not use this water to do**he va**nal deepening, not soaked va**na in water too long, as such as bringing bacteria to the va**nal area.

With simple home remedies and the core principles of protecting the va**nal from having bad odor above, sisters need to try applying and tell each other to how to get rid of fishy Feminine va**nal odor.

What is a yeast infection?
Yeast infection also is known as candidiasis. It is one of the most common types of va**nal infection.

What causes yeast infections?
A yeast infection is caused by a fungus called Candida. It is found in small numbers in the normal va**na. However, when the balance of bacteria and yeast in the va**na is altered, the yeast may overgrow and cause symptoms.

What factors increase the risk of getting a yeast infection?
Use of some types of antibiotics increase your risk of a yeast infection. The antibiotics kill normal va**nal bacteria, which keep yeast in check. The yeast can then overgrow. A woman is more likely to get yeast infections if she is pregnant or has diabetes. Overgrowth of yeast also can occur if the body’s immune system, which protects the body from disease, is not working well.

What are the symptoms of a yeast infection?
The most common symptoms of a yeast infection are itching and burning of the area outside the va**na called the v***a. The v***a may be red and swollen. The va**nal discharge usually is white, lumpy, and has no odor. Some women with yeast infections notice an increase or change in discharge.

What treatments are available for va**nal yeast infection?
Yeast infections can be treated either by placing medication into the va**na or by taking a pill.

Should I use an over-the-counter medication to treat a yeast infection?
Over-the-counter treatments are safe and often effective in treating yeast infections. But many women think that they have a yeast infection when they actually have another problem. In these cases, a medication for a yeast infection will not work and may cause a delay in proper diagnosis and treatment of the actual problem.

Even if you have had a yeast infection before, it may be a good idea to call your health care professional before using an over-the-counter medication to treat your symptoms. If this is the first time you have had va**nal symptoms, you should see your health care professional. If you have used an over-the-counter medication and your symptoms do not go away, see your health care professional.
