As a rising social entrepreneur, I've made two transformative commitments in 2024 that have significantly enriched my journey. These steps are rooted in building deeper connections, expanding influence, and nurturing meaningful relationships that align with my purpose.
Here are the steps:

1. Investing in Friendships:
Investing in friendships doesn’t need to be financially driven. Instead, it’s about giving your time, attention, and expertise. Working on projects or initiatives that hold meaning for your friends can deepen trust and strengthen bonds. In doing so, you build a foundation of mutual support and shared success.

2. Elevating Acquaintances to Friendships:
It’s essential to be discerning about who enters your close circle. Be intentional with each connection and consider the circumstances that bring people into your life. Sometimes, individuals cross our paths for a season or specific reason. When the energy is right, consider elevating an acquaintance to a true friend. Always maintain respect, authenticity, and a genuine interest in their growth.

3. Presenting Value Over Personal Interest
This principle is invaluable for building a respected network of friends and allies. Begin by understanding your worth and leading with the value you bring. When you prioritize contributing rather than merely gaining, you lay the groundwork for a powerful, reputable network.
In time, financial rewards will follow, but the influence and respect you cultivate will be irreplaceable.

These steps have not only expanded my network but have empowered me to lead with intention, integrity, and impact. I hope you find them worthy of emulating.
