Aunty Grace, I see what you do and how you effortlessly love and care for the kids you teach; I want you to take my first son and prepare his younger brother for school, as he will start school in September. Make sure you add your fare to the fee, and please get back to me asap. This was the message I received in August.
The first day I resumed work, this woman ensured I was fed and taken care of. Ah! I came for teaching o not for holiday (these were the words I muttered beneath my breath). I couldn't Phantom what exactly I did before coming. Initially, I was a bit scared and confused because I didn't have anything to give back. All I had in mind was to resume on time, give my all (best) while teaching, and return home. While teaching, she comes to check on us to ensure her kids are participating fully and as well share some life experiences with me before resuming back to work. I loved every bit of it. π
Whenever I ring the doorbell and her sons observe it's me, they leave whatever they are doing to welcome me. Every day, after two hours, she ensured I was fed before leaving. This act made me feel at home and I gave my very best. It was hard to say goodbye to the kids because they got used to me, and their presence brought out the childish behavior in me π

Teaching is fun. Having a good home tutor and treating them well can't be overemphasized. Respecting your clients, communicating, understanding, and appreciating their acts of kindness by doing your job effectively is the best you can offer to them as a teacher and tutor.
