A JUST WEDDED MILITARY OFFICER HAS BEEN SET ON FI.RE AND KIL.LED BY HIS WIFE.

Dr Samson Haruna was a new recruited military officer from Jos.

He graduated as a medical doctor before joining the military and was commissioned in the army with the rank of lieutenant last year in 2024.

He got married to his wife Mrs Samson Haruna in April 2025

On September 22nd 2025, they had a heated argument over her suspicion of him cheating on her and one thing led to another and she doused him with petrol and set him on fire.

He was rushed to the military clinic attached to the barrack before being transfered to the university of Uyo teaching hospital where he died from his injuries.

The incident happened at Wellington Bassey Barracks, at Ibagwa, Abak Local government Area in Akwa Ibom State.

He was barely 5 months in the marriage.

His wife, a medical personnel (nurse) has been arrested and is in police custody waiting to be charged to court.

RIP Lieutenant Dr, Samson.
