(Bad Luck) Cleansing Bath – Summary

This cleansing bath is believed to help remove bad luck and negative spiritual influences.

Items Needed:
Alligator pepper, coconut, ogirisi leaves, scent leaves, sea salt, clean water, bucket.

Steps:

1. Wash a clean bucket with one alligator pepper and discard it.

2. Fill the bucket with water.

3. Add 7 seeds of alligator pepper, praying as you drop each one.

4. Squeeze 7 ogirisi leaves and 7 scent leaves into the water.

5. Add three pinches of sea salt.

6. Hold a coconut over your head, speak blessings, break it, and pour the water into the bucket.

7. Bathe with the mixture without soap, praying for cleansing.

8. Do not wipe your body—allow it to dry naturally.

The bath is done with prayers and positive declarations to remove uchu (bad luck) and attract blessings.
