Adults forget how to play. We get so consumed with bills and goals that we lose our sense of fun.
Whether it’s your FIFA rival, your gym buddy, or your Ludo champion, having someone to just "play" with is vital for your mental health.
Play is the ultimate, free therapy. Engaging in fun activities resets your brain, sparks creativity, and gives you the stamina to tackle serious adult responsibilities with fresh energy.
Practical Acts of Kindness for your activity mate today:
🤸🏾♂️ Cheer for them genuinely when they beat you in a game (Even if they support a rival team, or if loyalty to a club like Arsenal is on the line!).
🤸🏾♂️ Respect their time by being consistently punctual for your scheduled link-ups, even with the Lagos traffic!
🤸🏾♂️ Bring an extra bottle of water or a clean towel to share during your workout or match.
🤸🏾♂️ Offer constructive, kind feedback to help them improve, rather than teasing them harshly when they miss a shot.
