Yes, we walked against cancer.

From State House Marina to Marcelle Ruth Cancer Centre, joined thousands to amplify awareness, honour survivors, and reinforce the importance of early detection.

Every step was a statement and kudos to Dr. Mrs. Modupe Elebute-Odunsi and the entire Marcelle Ruth team for sustaining this powerful movement—one that keeps awareness alive, stigma at bay, and hope in motion.

As the weekend begins, may this be a reminder: your health is worth the check.

ACTSON 2026 in Ilorin was a strong platform to present and exhibit best-in-class cardiothoracic solutions from Getinge, SCHILLER and Medtronic.

From the booth to the presentation room, had conversations that reflected a shared vision for the future of cardiothoracic care—where clinically trusted technologies drive precision, efficiency, and better patient outcomes across Nigeria.

Grateful for the engaging conversations, shared expertise, and the opportunity to collaborate with the cardiothoracic community.

Cancer often begins with a question that needs answers.
In Nigeria, those answers don’t always come early—access to timely detection remains uneven.
Yet outcomes change when diagnosis is clear and connected to care.

Our Canon large-bore CTs support accurate imaging and confident treatment planning.
When treatment begins, precision matters.
Elekta Linear Accelerators deliver focused radiotherapy while protecting healthy tissue.

Cancer care works best when diagnosis knows where it is going next.
That is the system we build at JNCI.

Where Skills Met the Scope | Throwback 2025

In December 2025, JNCI, in partnership with Olympus and the University of Jos Teaching Hospital (JUTH), delivered a focused 3-day Endoscopy and Minimal Access Surgery Workshop (2nd–4th December) designed to strengthen procedural competence and expand access to minimally invasive care in Nigeria.

Led by respected clinicians Prof. Alatise, Prof. Idorenyin Akpayak, Prof. Ismaila, Dr. Lanre Balogun, and Dr. Mary Duguru, the workshop prioritised hands-on learning over theory, giving participants direct exposure to real clinical cases.

Across the three days, 10 colonoscopy procedures and one laparoscopic surgery were successfully performed—turning training into measurable clinical impact and reinforcing JNCI’s role in enabling hospitals move from knowledge to practice.

This workshop reflects a deliberate approach: partnering with institutions, deploying the right technology, and supporting clinicians where it matters most—inside the procedure room.

When leaders step away from routine, perspective sharpens.

The JNCI Management Committee and Team Leads recently came together over the course of three days to reflect deeply on our journey, challenge existing thinking, and align on what the future of the company must look like. The conversations were intentional, the questions bold, and the focus clear—how to create lasting impact across the healthcare ecosystem.

This gathering wasn’t just about strategy on paper. It was about decisions that shape outcomes, actions that strengthen systems, and clarity that drives sustainable growth. Every session reinforced our responsibility to deliver safety, quality, and value at every point of care.

Equally important were the moments of connection beyond the sessions. Team bonding experiences reminded us that strong impact is powered by strong people—dynamic, collaborative, and united by purpose. That energy continues to fuel how we work, lead, and innovate together.

With renewed alignment and confidence in the road ahead, moves forward ready to build smarter, stronger, and more resilient healthcare solutions.

Think healthcare. Think JNCI.

2025 highlights ✨

In November, participated in the NANS Annual Conference, with activities in Enugu.

In partnership with ZEISS, we supported hands-on neurosurgical training at Memfys Hospital, Enugu, providing access to the TIVATO 700 and EXTARO 300 operating microscopes. From wet lab to dry lab sessions, neurosurgeons explored precision technology in real-world learning settings.

The journey continued at the Enugu International Conference Centre — connecting expertise, innovation, and collaboration.
