Can only products address my fungal nail infection?

The answer is “It depends.”

Remember that all fungal nail infections are not the same. Some come with inflammation, pain, discharge, discoloration, swelling, odor, lifting etc

The treatment option is dependent on the type of infection we are treating.

There are cases where we combine topical products and oral medication.

A corn is a thick, hard layer of skin. It has a hard centre surrounded by swollen skin.

A seed corn is a type of corn that is very small. It usually looks like a hard circle.

Seed corns usually form on the soles of the feet.

Seed corns may hurt if you press on them or while you are walking or running.

A seed corn can happen when your skin is trying to protect itself from friction or pressure.

Dry skin can cause seed corns. It happens most often on the heel and the plantar (thick tissue that makes up your arch) of the foot where there is constant friction.

They can be caused by
- walking barefoot.
- wearing shoes or sandals without socks.
- wearing shoes or socks that do not fit well.
- wearing tight shoes and high heels that squeeze your feet.
- wearing loose shoes that slide and rub against your feet.
- standing on a hard surface for a long time.
- putting more pressure on certain parts of your foot when you walk.

Seed corns usually go away when you remove the cause of the friction or pressure or when you shave off the corn.

In some cases, you will have to surgically take it out like we have done in this video.

This procedure was done by our Podiatrist. Do not try doing this yourself or at your spa.

Here is what the 3 months Fungal Nail Bundle Package entails;

1. The Patient comes in every 4 weeks for an In-Clinic treatment
2. The package comes with some home care products.
3. The package must be completed in 12 weeks with one week grace period.
4. No refund even if the desired result is achieved earlier than planned.
5. Treatment is not transferable.
6. You are entailed to one free review session after the three sessions are completed.

In a situation where the desired result is not achieved in the proposed time frame, subsequent treatment will be paid for but at a discounted price.
