Did you know that what you eat plays a powerful role in protecting your eyesight?

Your diet can directly impact the long-term health of your eyes.

Nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, and vitamins C and E help support retinal health, reduce the risk of age-related eye conditions, and protect against oxidative damage.

By adding foods such as leafy greens, citrus fruits, nuts, seeds, and fatty fish to your meals, you’re not just nourishing your body; you’re actively helping to preserve your vision as you age.

Healthy eating truly is an investment in seeing clearly for years to come!

Partnership is what we do.

Rotaract Olamide from the Rotaract Club of Surulere South and Mr Emeka from St Edmunds Clinic and Eye Hospitals talk a bit about the medical outreach in the Oyingbo community on Saturday, January 24th, which was fun and rewarding.

This is part of our commitment to community health, preventive care, and meaningful social impact.

Back to work after the holidays? Watch out for Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS).

Also known as digital eye strain, CVS is a group of eye- and vision-related problems resulting from prolonged uninterrupted use of computers, tablets, e-readers, and smartphones.

Symptoms include eyestrain, headaches, blurred vision, and dry eyes.

Apply the 20-20-20 rule to prevent this occurrence. Every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Your eyes will thank you!

2026 is another year of intentional commitment to community health, preventive care, and meaningful social impact.

We kicked off the year by partnering with the Rotaract Club of Surulere South on Saturday, January 24th, for a medical outreach in the Oyingbo community.

We engaged residents and market traders across the area, and we are grateful for the lives we were able to touch with the gift of clearer vision.
