FEVER
Fever is the hotness of the body. And can also be characterized by changing in individual's body temperature which is between 36.6°C - 37.5°C and be determined through the use of thermometer . Fever is a sign of infection or loss of body fluid.
DEGREES OF FEVER
1. Temperature of the body between 37°C-39°C is pyrexia.
2. Temperature the body between 40°C - 42°C is hyperpyrexia.
CAUSES OF FEVER
the causes of fever in adult are;
1. Malaria
2. Tuberculosis
3. Respiratory tract infection
4. Gastrointestinal track infection
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
There are many signs and symptoms of fever presented due to individuals genetic factors but the common ones are;
1. Hotness of the body
2. Itching of the body
3. Vomiting
4. General body pain
5. Headache
6. Stiff neck etc.
