NHLMIS Officials Visit Borno for Training and Advocacy
The Executive Secretary of the Borno State Drugs and Medical Consumables Management Agency (BODMA), Pharm. Umar Abdulkarim, today received and addressed the technical team of the National Health Logistics Management Information System (NHLMIS) at the State Public Health Emergency Operations Centre (EOC).
The visit was part of the NHLMIS team’s effort to strengthen collaboration, enhance capacity, and improve data management for effective health logistics and supply chain operations in the state.
Key stakeholders present at the meeting included representatives from the Ministry of Health, Pharm. Ali S. Atabo (DPS, Ministry of Health), Pharm. James Malgwi (DPS, Hospital Management Board), Pharm. Amina Yakubu (Director, Supply Chain and Logistics, BPHCDA), and Pharm. Mustapha Abbagana (LMCU Coordinator).
The meeting provided an opportunity for productive discussions on improving coordination and data-driven decision-making across all health programs in Borno State.
