With almost everything put to a stop and the whole world practicing social distancing amid the Covid-19 outbreak, you don’t have to resign yourself to boredom and allow depression to creep in.
So in this lockdown there are lots of fun stuffs that you can do to escape boredom. This could be that opportunity to try new things, oya see .warrior’s 8 fun things you can do while in isolation 😉
1. Give yourself a manicure: This period presents us with lots of free time for self care. Take a few minutes out of your lone time and give yourself a manicure, after all it’s the little things in life that matter the most.
2. Read a book: They say “readers are leaders” and maybe our leaders aren't readers 🤔 but you’re a leader in your own capacity so you should read, I mean read that book that has been laying around in your home now that you have the time.
3. Learn how to cook: We all love foods😋, good tasty foods but have you considered learning a new dish? Is there any food you came across in the past and loved it?
Now is the big opportunity you have to learn how to make it. Go on YouTube now or just search for the recipes on google, you will have nothing to regret.
4. Learn how to knit: If you’re a creative adventurer and you’re not afraid to start a new thing you might want to try knitting 🧶. It is creative, practical and full of therapeutics.
5. Dance it out: Have you ever sang in the showers before? We Nigerians are known as fun loving people, we like to have fun so let’s do more in this lockdown. Blast out your favourite Naija tunes and dance in your room or living room by yourself or with family members but don’t disturb your neighbours oo!
6. Play a board game: Have people really forgotten the board game called Ludo? If you’ve been wondering what to do to escape the lockdown boredom, then consider a game of Ludo with your family.This used to be popular back in the day, bring back Ludo now!
And if you’re brain puzzle oriented consider Chess but don’t play Draft they say it’s addictive😂.
7. Do evening drinks: We know you missed going to Beer Barn or your favourite bar because of the lockdown but that doesn’t mean you should lockdown your appetite for a good drink. Get the app called Houseparty or Zoom and invite your friends for a video party 🎊 and have a drink or 2 or even 3, don’t worry have fun there’s no work in the morning😄.
8. Exercise: In all of this, you should exercise. Go for a run, do squats, pushups and burpees. Exercise can improve your mood and help you avoid depression and anxieties. Well according to
