*ADJUSTMENT OF EXAMINATION DATES BY JAMB*

JAMB adjusts 2022 exam dates, to provide additional code for profile creation
JAMB has made an adjustment on the earlier date announced for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam (UTME). According to the board, the 2022 exam earlier scheduled to hold between April 20th and 30th, 2022 will now hold from Friday, 6th May to Monday, 16th May 2022.
This was contained in the JAMB weekly bulletin. The board stated that the change is to accommodate some exigencies.
Similarly, the board revealed that the Mock-UTME exercise earlier scheduled for 2nd April 2022 would now be held on 16th April 2022, for candidates who register early and indicate their willingness to sit the Mock-UTME.
For all prospective candidates for the 2022 UTME, this is not an opportunity to soft-pedal on your preparation. The best time to start your preparation is now. If you are yet to download the Myschool JAMB CBT Mobile app and the Myschool JAMB CBT software, do so now. The app will also give you instant notifications anytime there's an important update from JAMB.
The date for the commencement of sale of the 2022 UTME/DE application document which was slated to start from 12th February to 19th March 2022 remains the same.
JAMB equally disclosed that an additional USSD code will be made available apart from the already existing 55019 code that enables candidates to access some of the JAMB services like the creation of profile code for UTME/DE registration. This became necessary in order to ensure that there is no congestion during registration when many candidates would be sending their requests for profile code creation.

JAMB registration procedure for 2019 at CBT centers

The applicant must personally visit and provide the pin code at one of the authorized CBT centers where the pin code is verified, and the registration procedure is completed. The applicant’s name, entered by him or her at profile registration, appears when CBT center enters a pin code.

Guide for applicants

You don't have to pay more than 700 Naira of fee for service to the authorized CBT center. Don’t leave your details for registration by proxy. You must register personally. Otherwise, you will be disqualified.
Indicate biographic details: birth date, nationality, state of origin, local government, gender, e-mail, phone number, etc.
Provide details of educational institutions and programs (curriculums).
Give specification with grades and dates, if you do not expect the result.
Download appropriate certificates, if you do not expect the result. It’s applied for UTME as well as DE applicants.
Candidates must provide O/L and or A/L grades. Applicants who are expecting results ought to download the results online on CAPS once they appear on the JAMB website. JAMB does not consider references from other institutions if the applicant has not downloaded his or her results on the site.
DE candidates should give JAMB registration number for first institutional certificates.

Indicate UTME subjects and selection of exam town(s) for
test exam (optionally)
exam for UTME (actual exam)
Take a photo (don’t scan passport).
Complete your biometric registration (10 fingers).
Look through the entries and verify if they are correct.
Print the registration form. UTME and DE should use bio-identification for confirming actual fingerprints. Keep in mind that identification with your thumb eliminates responsibility for the mistake of the CBT operators.
Take the reading text and CD free of charge.
An applicant should take his or her e-slip at the end of registration as its proof.
Offline registration procedure will not take place because all the authorized CBT centers have had powers to register online in real time. No applicant can register at any other center than the authorized CBT center and JAMB state offices. An applicant registered outside accepted centers will be disqualified.
Applicants with biometric problems can register only at JAMB headquarters in Abuja. They will also take the exams there.

Step-by-step JAMB 2019 registration process

It is high time to be ready for UTME in JAMB! Read about the JAMB 2019 registration procedure. What steps must a candidate take to register successfully? Today, there is a stir among young Nigerians who want to enroll in higher education this year. Now, you can register for UTME in JAMB. All services related to JAMB are provided only at its authorized centers. You can learn more concerning the JAMB 2019 registration in our article.

Firstly, you should know the JAMB 2019 registration form price. The registration fee is 3,500 Naira according to jamb.gov.ng.

JAMB 2019 registration procedure

One mobile number is allowed for use by one applicant only. This mobile number, for SMS receiving, is linked with the applicant’s name, and he or she will apply it for all connections dealing with 2019 application, exam, and admission to study.
The applicant should send his or her full name (surname, first name, and middle name if there is) as a text message to the short number ‘55019.’ The SMS can contain a max of 38 signs plus two gaps between names. So, it should be a maximum of 40 signs sent to 55019. Note: The surname and first name are obligatory.
Then, the applicant will get a 10-character ‘profile code’ on his or her mobile number.
The candidate provides the profile code to the places of JAMB form’s purchase. An applicant will then receive a pin code of the form via SMS.
The applicant will then provide the pin code to any authorized CBT center for check-in.
If you need correction of the applicant's name, send ‘CORRECT surname first name middle name’ to the short number 55019 via SMS from your registered mobile.
For restoring a lost profile code, send ‘RESEND’ to 55019 via SMS from your registered mobile. The applicant can discard a profile password on the registered mobile. He or she should send the ‘password’ gap ‘email address’ to 55019 via SMS from the registered mobile.
Note! If an applicant wants to make a complaint on one or some JAMB actions, he or she can make a support request at support.jamb.gov.ng using the candidate’s email logged on the official website. Then, the applicant indicates his or her name, mobile number, and the kind of problem, choose a sector for filing a complaint, and after that, generalize the character of the problem. The applicant can enclose confirming documents (if there are any) and send.

Pay for it either via card or online;
Receive the pin code on applicant’s registered mobile.
If you need more detailed information concerning the payment for pin code, turn to the official website of JAMB.

JAMB begins sale of 2019 UTME registration forms
10/Jan/2019, 07:09dailypost.ng

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) commenced sale of registration forms, for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, today Thursday, January 10, 2019.
Sale of forms will last for six weeks.
JAMB’s Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, has said the board will stop using cyber cafes for registration of candidates from this year.
He urged all prospective candidates to do their registration and access the board’s major services, in any of its 718 accredited centres in the country.
“We are no longer going to allow the cyber cafes to do the registration exercise for prospective candidates because they are extorting candidates and overcharging them.

“They also do services they do not have the capacity to do, coupled with the fact that there was no way of tracking them because they were not registered.
“Another major reason is the mix-up they create on the data of the candidates. Some will just ask the candidates to write their names and other details down for them.
“On accumulating such data, they now get all of them mixed-up, thereby creating problems for these candidates.
“We know there will be uproar because they make a lot of illegitimate money from these services, but we cannot leave the candidates at their mercy.
“Particularly when people will make noise that it is JAMB that was extorting them,” Oloyede said.
The 2019 UTME is scheduled to commence on March 16.

JAMB 2019 registration will begin January 10,2019 according to what the registrar of JAMB said. This post is for candidates that have not yet apply or are finding it hard to understand how to register for JAMB 2019.

STEP 1-

The first thing you will do, is to create a confirmation code with your phone, by sending your "Surname Firstname Othername" to 55019. They will charge you #50 for the SMS.

For full explanation on how to create the JAMB confirmation code, click the link below

http://admissiontipz.blogspot.com/2018/12/create-jamb-profile-account.html

After you've done that, you will receive a confirmation code from JAMB.

STEP 2-

Then, you will go to the bank (UBA , Firstbank, Union bank etc) to purchase the JAMB E-pin. When you get to the bank, ask for instruction from any of the bank staffs you see. You will be asked to provide the confirmation code which JAMB sent to your phone, they will need it in order to generate your E-pin.

STEP 3-

Now that you have purchased the JAMB E-pin, you can now go to any JAMB CBT registered centre you know. You will be asked to provide your o'level result, JAMB E-pin, your confirmation code, and your passport ( they might use the laptop to snap you).

STEP 4-

After you have successfully registered for the JAMB 2019, you will be given a print out of the JAMB registration and also the compulsory storybook.

You should also note that everything will cost you #4700 only. The breakdown-
JAMB E-pin + storybook = #3500 + #500 ( to be paid together in the bank)
Cbt registration fee= #700 (to be paid after you have successfully registered for JAMB 2018)

Creating a JAMB profile is one of the simplest and mandatory part during JAMB registration. The method for this year own is the same method used last year, so carefully read the procedures. It shouldn't take you more than thirty minutes.
