Dr. Isaac Dabu Kaduna Bags Legislative Excellence Leadership Merit Award

African Legislative Parliamentary Writers Network (ALPWN) National Assembly Abuja has Presented Excellence Leadership Merit Award , to Dr Isaac Dabu Kaduna , the Provost ERCC college of health sciences and technology alushi nasarawa state , In recognition of his passionate and charismatic leadership dynamism, and for his results oriented innovative and developmental initiatives.
Particularly his physical infrastructural enhancement, and human capacity development using periodic training framework..

ERCC COLLEGE of HEALTH SCIENCES & TECHNOLOGY has achieved significant milestones under the supervision of Dr Isaac kaduna one and half year in office as the substantive provost which includes;
1.introduction of MLT course
2.construction and Equiped of modern laboratory for training
3.Obtained full accreditation for course running in the college
4. Construction of 8 lectures halls and office suits
5. Building of college website also expansion for the college curriculum in New subject that's relevant to modern healthcare challenges also fostering partnership with local health institution's to improve practical training for students and community health outcome. ALPWN's President Dr. Justin Ihunne represented by the Organizing Secretary Barr. Apeh Kelvin while presenting the award said it's also in- recognition of the Provost ability in
creating a seamless atmospheric climate framework which aids students academic journey by fostering a conducive learning environment that emphasis both academic achievement and personal well -being, the college instills in students not just technical health care skills but also values such as kindness, understanding and respect, encapsulate in it's ethnos of humanity in learning and caring.

According to the President, the award is not just one of those given for exchange of money but based on the Provost dedication commitment and open door administrative leadership model, In companies of the college management team and the ever vibrant excited students union leaders, the Provost affirmed their commitment to uphold integrity, efficiency and effective service delivery to humanity

Dr Kaduna thanked the President of the forum and his team for the award adding that it will spur them to achieve more fit, to drive home the mandate and core objectives of colleges of health sciences and technology .

CHPRBN Achieves another Milestone: Strategic Reinstatement of Community Health Programme at National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Through Visionary Leadership

In a groundbreaking development that underscores his visionary leadership and resolute commitment to advancing community health education in alignment with global best practices, the Registrar/CEO of CHPRBN, Dr Bashir Idris (Lifidin Jama'a), has successfully championed the moves of reinstating the Community Health Programme at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). This landmark achievement marks yet another milestone in his distinguished career as a goal-oriented and transformative leader, further cementing his legacy as the most accomplished Registrar/CEO in the annals of the Board.

The reinstatement of the Community Health Programme, a critical initiative designed to address Nigeria's pressing healthcare challenges, was set in motion following a high-level consultative meeting between CHPRBN and NOUN. The meeting, held on Monday, 10th March 2025, at Conference Room 1 of the University, brought together key stakeholders to deliberate on the strategic modalities for the programme's revival and its alignment with contemporary academic and professional standards.

The CHPRBN delegation was led by Prof. Gimbason D. Mairafi, accompanied by Mr. Fajuko B. Emmanuel, Abbas J. Kazurawa, Mr. Charles O. Okapor, Dr Yohanna Wamanyi, and El-Muqaddas ABBA, who served as Secretary. Representing NOUN, the Vice Chancellor was ably represented by Prof. Elkenah C. Ndie, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, alongside Heads of the Nursing Science, Public Health, and Environmental Health Science Departments, as well as administrative staff.

The discussions centred on the harmonization of academic standards, the modalities for reinstating and modifying the Bachelor of Science in Community Health (BSc CH) to a Bachelor of Community Health Science (BCHS) Programme, and the introduction of postgraduates.
