STOP ETHNIC OR RELIGIOUS PROFILING!!! What image did you see at first? A man with dreadlocks? Sometimes we are too quick to draw conclusions based on what we "see or know". Enlarge the image and you will be shocked to see what the image actually represents. *Moral of the picture:* take time to study and reflect to be sure you have the complete and correct understanding before you make a decision or take action.
Your kids also deserve to be given fair assessment before being judgemental.

In continuation of our weekend reunion, I wanted to nap and...
Child: Daddy don't tell me you want to sleep.
Me: Just to nap I'm tired.
Child: Please don't sleep I'm hungry.
Me: Tell grandma to make food for you.
Child: No
Me: Why?
Child: You will make the food.
(Does this child not see how tired I am?)
Me: Let's go and make yam (something easy to cook).
Child: No dad. I don't want to eat yam.
Me: Then what will you eat?
Child: Rice
In my mind why rice with all the procedures?
Me: White, jollof or fried?
Child: White.
Me: The stew is frozen. Can you wait for 45 mins for it to thaw?
Child: Nooo, I'm very hungry.
Me: Then let me make noodles with special sauce for you.
Child: Alright dad

We made the noodles successfully and she ate more than she will usually eat cos she said the food is very delicious.
She's singing all over and washing plates.
I'm excited though stressed but the bonding of this weekend will remain fresh till next weekend when I plan cooking soup with her with emphasis on teaching her some skills.
