BOUNDARIES
Boundaries define us. Boundaries define what we are and what we are not. Knowing our strengths and weaknesses and being responsible for ourselves gives us freedom.
Imagine being told to keep a property secured and safe that if anything happens you will be held accountable, without telling you where the property ends or begins (size of the property). How will you protect the property well without knowing the boundaries?
This is exactly what happens to us when we fail to recognize the ever-present reality to set boundaries in order to grow positively and save our lives.
What happens when you don’t set boundaries?
- Trying harder don’t work
- Being overly nice out of fear can’t work
- Taking full responsibilities for others is mentally and physically consuming.
