The Family of LOT
Genesis 11: 26 – 28 Abraham was an uncle to Lot. Haran his father died early and that must have made Abraham to take him in, as part of his own family. Lot must have also leant righteousness from Abraham.
Who is Lot? Genesis 19:1-3 He is a man who is very hospitable and must have learnt from Abraham, who also had welcome strangers too.
Who is Lot’s wife? Though her name was not mentioned, she is a failed mother who could not obey simple instruction, which led to in**st in the family
Who are the daughters? They are virgins and this is wonderful. I wish there are many of these ladies in this generation.
Lessons
Genesis 19:31-32 the girls said there are no men around, so they slept with their father; any time the alternative to a problem is a sin, that alternative is no solution.
Though they were taught holy living, they were probably not taught s*x education. Lev 18:6, teach every child complete syllabus of the bible.
If the mother of the house was around, the in**st wouldn’t have happened.
Hospitality is a good virtue, which every family practice and teach their children also.

A lady who gets attracted to another lady should not keep quiet. The devil likes it when people suffer in silence, telling someone can help you.
Abused children should also speak out and don’t hide the offender. Such will be happy and will continue.
Parents should please be careful who you keep your children with, even uncles and aunties cannot be trusted, find time for your children.
