ANENCEPHALY ( Neural tube defect)
This is a form of abnormality caused by deficiency of FOLIC ACID in the body. As a pregnant woman never you fail to take those drugs given to you during antenatal they contain folic acid, vitamin B complex, calcium etc
Unfortunately, there is no treatment for anencephaly. Many pregnancies with neural tube defects will end in miscarriages. Some babies with anencephaly will be stillborn. Other babies who are born with anencephaly will die within a few hours to a few days
Note!!!! FOLIC ACID should be taken by every woman of child bearing age before pregnancy, during pregnancy and after pregnancy
