1 Introduction From the view of elderly babas "African elder", they made used of the items and materials in their environment as a means of adding more to their beauty so called EWÀ in Yoruba language. Onírú-ūn-rún" various things were discovered by them but Ìlèkè(beads) was one of the unforgettable things which they can't left behind in their dressing code. Using of Ìlèkè (beads) is common among the Royal families, Traditional devotees, Artiest and many more. It's unfortunate, that the use of Ìlèkè(beads) comes to relegation as a result of the introduction of designers jewelry by the white men called OYINBO. Ìlèkè-Otútùopòn Ifá is common among Babalawo and Iyanifa which is their sign of identification as an Ifa priest among other traditional devotees and also within the particular community they belong to and other place where they find themselves. Majorly, the use of Ìlèkè-Otútùopòn is common among Ifa priest but you can possibly find it from other traditional priest/priestess. It's said,that recommendation of using ileke Ifa comes out from the whole 256 odu Ifa, from which I can point out 87 odu Ifa and their ese ifa(Ifa verses) which emphasized on the importance and merits of using ileke Ifa either you are an Ifa priest/priestess or you belong to another Orisa. Briefly, I will like to list 16 major odu Ifa which stated the advantages of using Ilèkè-Ifá from the 87 I claimed.
