Let’s debunk the “ MYTH “That Acne keloidalis Nuchae is transmitted through use of clippers:

We have once had a client who visited,during consultation he kept on saying “upon I use my personal clippers when ever I go to barbing salons to shave “upon I always buy new clippers every three months yet am still getting this bump”

The exact etiology of AKN still remains unknown; however, recurrent friction and/or minor trauma from clothing, athletic gear, or close shaving or shaving against the direction of hair growth which left ingrown hairs ,often causes irregular frictions of hairs frequently contributes to the devlopment of this condition.

This condition is commonly seen in African American make due to thick coarse hair.

A progressive improvement on this journey is so amazing 🤩
