This is not just a tube. This is survival.
This is dialysis. This is kidney failure.
What you see in this image is a central venous catheter placed directly into a major vein near the heart to filter the bl000d… because the kidneys can’t.
💔 Kidney failure isn’t always sudden.
It starts quietly…
Uncontrolled bl000d pressure.
Unmanaged diabetes.
Constant use of painkillers
Ignoring water intake
Holding urine for too long
And never doing health checkups.
Before you know it, your kidneys are struggling and then completely stop.
When that happens, dialysis becomes the only lifeline, a painful, exhausting, time-consuming routine, 3 times a week, for hours.
You don’t want to get here.
So please…
Drink enough water.
Check your bl000d pressure & sugar regularly
Eat right
Move your body
Avoid unnecessary drugs
And see a health care specialist if something doesn’t feel right
Your kidneys may be small but they work 24/7 to keep you alive.
Don’t wait till they fail before you start paying attention.
Let’s protect what we still have.
Do you know anyone on dialysis? What’s one thing you’ve learned from their journey?
Let’s raise awareness together.
